Beer O clock and I'm off with the fairies - I got my smoked tuna, some Jatz and all's well 🍻
🤣👍 Enjoy Will 😎
great LAND !
Изумительное видео! Плохо, что посмотрел его на телефоне 😅 отличный контент, у вас плюс один преданный подписчик из России. Хорошей дороги и будьте здоровы! 🙌
Thanks Alex! Stay safe and enjoy life mate 🙏😎👍
Great viewing mate enjoying your vids, ride safe.
Thanks Jason, you too mate 👍
What a special weekend camp!! Love the fog.
Foggy start, beautiful day - and location 😁👍
Buddy you’ve sold me on a CRF 300 rally as my adventure bike thanks for your videos, bloody awesome keep up the good work 👏👍
Cheers mate, they're good little machines- light and fun 👍 Still test ride one first though 👍
Heaps to explore up there, Guy Fawkes National Park is awesome as well.
I'll do some Googling 😁👍 Cheers mate 🍻
You got a great spot there mate, funny, I was just watching a MrAus video where he and I were at the same place.
Not sure my suspension would like the run through Chaelundi, but great country in there.
Those fires became a problem, with many others, just a few days later when the wind picked up!
Cool, and convenient, spot near that bridge hey David 😁. And Chaelundi road was long and rough. Bar the lookouts it's not overly exciting. But gets you to Dorrigo nicely though. The fires! Yep, would have been raging yesterday. They were here near SWR's 😳
I'm up for a ride through there mate. But I have a DRZ! 🤪
Now that you have room in your garage, I can see you on a CRF! 🤣
G'day, im loving your videos , just fantastic. Steve
Thanks Steven, cheers for the positive feedback 👍
Several of my friends and I have bought lighter weight bikes just so we can do this type of exploring. One actually bought a Honda 300 Rally like yours, and we are all really impressed with it's performance.
They're great, practical machines, Doug. Any reliable, light adventure bike is going to be more fun than something big, heavy and restrictive 👍
Great vid cheers Phil 👍🏕️
Thanks Johnny👍 Was a good - and needed - weekend escape
What a great run! Really enjoyed that one thanks for sharing cheers
Cheers John, glad you enjoyed it 😎👍
Well that's a cool way to get from Coffs to Dalmorton! I only knew the main road via Orara Way to Grafton and then up to the Old Grafton Road. I've crossed over that bridge at Dalmorton and knew to went somewhere but I turned back being on a V-Strom with road tyres at the time. This route looks awesome for my DRZ though and I do keep meaning to get back down there for a camp. But yeah, I might wait until after summer.
The ruins look a lot creepier in the mist that's for sure! Thanks for sharing the route mate, I enjoyed this, awesome video! I've been meaning to watch it for months now!
The finish looked like a great spot too. I haven't been there before! Another place I'll have to check out!
Glad you enjoyed it😎👍 Yeah it's a good run across there, bit rough, but some cool views too 👍 Well worth a loop ride from Dorrigo.
Great video, Phil and a top little camp-site.
Cheers Clarky 😎👍
Some nice country back there by the look of it and a top camp spot as well. I'think you were looking at wild plum blossum up along that river although I'm not certain. Bloody pleasant looking either way. Thanks Phil!
Hey PLC, just googled the plants,, and I'd say your correct 👍 Definitely a nice ride through that valley, and a great place to camp 😎
So good mate. What a great video. Just having dinner watching it. Makes me want to get out there!
Cool, glad you enjoyed it mate 😎👍
Beautiful ride and camping through there👌great vid mate.
My last ride through there, plus one of your vids, sealed the deal- had to camp there 😁. Rocky River Road soonish 😎👍
@@MidCoastAdventures yeah rocky river is🙌
Great video ride safe
Thanks mate, you too 😎👍
Great ride Phil , no doubt we have some beautiful countryside to ride in ! I saw you heading down past the Jetty strip on Sunday
Hi Andrew, Coffs is a great starting place for adventure hey 👍 Should have said hello. Cheers mate 😎
Nice looking hamburger
Can’t beat a good hamburger from a country take away always good
Tasted great Gary, toasted bun, fresh ingredients 👍 Nearly as good as my tin soup for tea...😢
Good one Phil👍 Top spot there by the river. Dalmorton was a thriving gold town back in the day. Half way along Layton rd there's a right turn on to Black mountain rd, this will take you through to Glenreagh. Next time maybe? Happy trails mate👍👍
I almost went that way Neil! Stopped at the intersection, but wanted to hit the coast north of Coffs. Will link it up with Twenty Sixty Road on ride 👍
@@MidCoastAdventures Along twelve sixty you will notice a picnic table, if you follow Morris trail you'll come to a bit of a clearing at a cross rd, this is the old rail siding of Timber Top. Last time I was there the hut and sign were still there! Another fascinating piece of Aussie history. The rail line up to Dorrigo
@@neilheyward2599 I know exactly where you mean. I headed up (to find the tunnels) and come to a hill that was beyond my skill level. I knew I was within 2 kays from the 1st tunnel, but sadly turned back. One day....
@@MidCoastAdventures health stop me exploring the tunnels. But you are on the right track. Hope you get there one day buddy
Just discovered your channel. Love the content. Keep up the good work. I am working towards getting my own adventure bike and doing similar things. I really like the filming and editing you have done.
Cool. Thanks for the kind words 👍 There's a sensation of freedom on a bike that just makes any escape even more special. Enjoy your adventures when you get your adv bike 😎👍
hey buddy--- nice work, hope your loving the new bike-- i thought it may be a bit underpowered from the DR, light thou-- good to see some backburning--- wish theyd do some around port stephens as we need it--- i looked at getting the same bike a while back but i do a lot or tar before i hit dirt, i ended up with a new vstrom 650, ive only ridden it 3 times--- just lost all interest in riding unfortunately, so its on gumtree--lol, keep it up mate!!
New bike is going fine, and yep under-powered compared to the DR, but it 's fun and does the job 👍 Hey, if the interest is gone, no shame in selling a bike. Should sell quickly for ya 👍
Just found your channel, just what I've been looking for. Hope to be getting away from Brisbane soon on my Postie/Himalayan. A lot of videos to catch up on. What drone are you flying.
Welcome aboard mate 👍 The drone, DJI Mavic Mini. Not the best but takes some cool footage. Get out there mate, escape the city 😎👍
I to have a postie and a Himalayan and live in Brisbane ( beenleigh area), where's all the good old tracks gone ,houses everywhere these days.
Making the most of that reliable Honda. Do you ever find people having a whinge about your quiet camping by the creek?
I don't do enough camping to be whinged at. And the places I go usually no-body owns the land anyway 👍
Who is the great photographer on your trips
Just me mate 😁👍
What brand racks do you have on the back mate as I want something similar to do camp rides with
They're just a cheap set I got off ebay. Typed in crf rally and they came up. Didn't fit, but I made them fit real good 🤦♂️
Made me laugh thinking to myself that's an interesting rd then realise you've done it already😂. Another top video mate.
Is that some Pivot Pegs you have on there.
Hi coobye, weird flashback for ya ...lol And no fancy pegs, stock, even with the rubber inserts sti in . Cheers
Is there a anything you miss about the dr650 phil?
Good question! Yep, the power, the sound it made and the memories of 45,000 kays exploring
Thankyou for this ❤ I have been wanting to do this trip but was scared to explore. How was the overnight temperature
Hi Lou, just take your time, ride well within your comfort level and you'll be fine. Temps down to 10 degs, so nice and cozy 👍
how did the new girl go with a bit of weight on her back
Not too bad with all the gear (although I pack as light as possible- maybe 15 kilos extra) Fuel eccon went from 29.9 k per litre, down to 29.1 k per litre. So all fine loaded up a bit 👍
Cherry blossum trees
Купил такой же мотоцикл, какие шины у вас стоят?
Now running Dunlop 605 front and rear - good tyres 😎👍
@@MidCoastAdventures спасибо за совет! таких почти нет.. Как думаете насчёт Kendo k270 dual sport?заранее благодарен!)
@@alexoikosyach9737 Sorry mate, I haven't used the Kenda K270 tyres. They look a good tyre though 👍👍
Do you follow Brent Pearson?
Yeah, he puts out some good moto-camping stuff 👍
