Thanks for this insightful video. What you say here, in regards to the devotional/animism sort of perspective, strongly resonates with my experiences of astrological talismans. They do feel like they're ensouled "bird houses" (or fountains) for a Spirit that also works like a sort of personal calling card. A relationship can be built with them, over time. They don't feel like batteries etc etc
