I work in a software house and I am a strong advocate of this fact that in winter we write better code as we feel our mind peachful while in summer, we face a decrease in our productivity.

I have always advocated for this point. Mitigating colds is relatively easier than in summer.
Extreme summers also have a substantial negative impact on the behavior and psyche of people.
Plus, the energy/electricity/fuel requirements during the summer are humongous.

Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan are the coldest countries in the world just after Russian cities of Yakutsk and omyacon but still these countries are third world countries, Europe is way more warmer than Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Mongolia.
This year Astana, Kazakhstan recorded -40°C temperature while london recorded less than -4°C.

Cold and warm hypotheses have been proven wrong for a long time. West Europe was very poor before the 16th century. India was the wealthiest country in the world. West Europe becomes rich by looting and plundering of other countries. North of Pakistan and India is poor than the South. Kashmir and around areas are poor than the rest of India and Pakistan.
