I have been saying that long before Shericka Jackson ran 21.92. I believe the British Sportscasters have been pushing Deana Asher -Smith more than she truly deserves. I predicted from 2019 that she wouldn't repeat. I think she is good, but not as good as she is really being projected by the very biased British Commentators. The same thing is being done by the American Sports media with Abbey Steiner. Abbey Steiner is an excellent talent, but like silver, she has to go through the fire to be minted. So I am going to say it. ABBEY STEINER won't make the podium in Oregon. Champs is the reason why our Athletes or not crowd shy. There's a song which says " "Love Ain't Enough", well "Speed Ain't Enough"
First time I’ve seen this young lady few years ago and the writing was on the wall. She’s just getting rolling and she’s such a decent strong nice humble intelligent women. Repping the garden state
The commentator was so impressed, she said the same thing i did...WOW! Athing Mu is frigging amazing. And I learned something new today. Look at her kness as the commentator said - her kness are raised much higher than all the other runners! I never noticed that. She also seems to be simply jogging effortlessly while all the other women seem to be working hard as hell and in pain. WOW!
Athing Mu is so beautiful to watch ! She literally looks like a Gazelle running 🏃🏽♀️ in the Serengeti in Africa I mean stunningly beautiful wow 😍😍😍I also call her The Wind 💨 her form & strength is also so impressive !
Subbed and upvoted. I just wrote a critical screed on the ITC International track and field channel decrying the unprofessional and unceremonious (non-)editing and failure to post full results. I'm just discovering Athing Mu, and it's nice that you left key context from the televised event and included a post-race chat. Big up! Great work, @The RealBrayo! @ITC International channel...not so much.
Thank you brochacho! I decided to start uploading for the same reason. Track & Field needs more exposure. There’s not enough people putting out the races for people to watch. People love track, but when you can’t watch these events on ESPN, ABC, NBC etc. majority start paying attention to other things. People need a place where they can get and watch updates of different races happening in the circuit. That’s why I do my best to upload the day of the event so it’s fresh.
@@BrayoFitnessTrainer I read World Athletics is trying to carve out a season of sorts for track and field in the US especially. More broadcast events etc. Let's hope they market properly and pull it off.
First time I've heard her speak. Hmmm...ambìtious, confident, young, selfish (needed for individual comp, as she needed reminding of God & Texas team!)
She's got to qualify at the Olympic trials. She's right focusing on the 800 that's prob her best chance to punch her ticket to Tokyo. I can def see her being in the 4x4 relay pool as well.
Indeed. Wonderful melanin. I grew up in Kenya with a lot of Sudanese people with very dark complexion and always thought it was wonderful. Very intelligent people.
@@BrayoFitnessTrainer She has to get her time under 48. Caster Semenya is her competition. As a unisex athlete who will be running full out this year, if you aren't putting up 47 secs...you won't beat Caster. I'll be rooting for her during the Olympic trails, as I'm sure she's going to get an invite to try out for the team! Hopefully she runs for USA.
Happy for this remarkable young lady. BUT PEOPLE it's not just Athing Mu. I believe it's South Sudan. If this nation starts to get into track and field the all sprinters and long distance runners are in for trouble.! USA, Ethiopia Kenya, Jamaica WATCH OUT!!! Even javelin

Athing Mu is so talented, intelligent and extremely humble. She gives glory to God. Keep working hard!!
Amen to that 🙏

For 400m, there is two geant shauna Miller uibo and nasser salwa, unbeatable
Is it just I or has someone else observed that the Logo for Texas A&M, ATM, seems to be a contraction of Athing Mu's name?
very interesting you say that. You're right
Their Logo is ATM- A Thing Mu
Lemme find out they've been breeding her in the ATM lab for 18 years!
Winning all those races is making her cuter!!! Pretty soon she's going to be fine!!! She already moved up from plain to cute!!!
Wow, Pat Henry is still coaching. There is nothing like experience in coaching.
Beast mode
The 1 to watch!!!

She has mega talent !
She will be in tokio in 400m ?
🤔
800 and won the gold ....
She ran 48.32 in the 4x400relays faster than Shaune Miller Uiboz 48.37 400m gold ..
She was born to run
She has potential to be faster. Even though its the 400, she needs better form out of the blocks.
You're right Tiff! She's only 18 years & 11 months.
