hey hun here’s a tip (i’m a braider) when you first get your braids done don’t oil your scalp the first week wait until the second week. When you go and get your braids done make sure you haven’t just hair a fresh cut 9/10 clients who come with their hair either cut blunt or freshly cut it results in hair sticking out of the braids. LESS IS MORE with knotless they have potential to last long. Lastly when adding oil to your hair dont rub it in let it absorb naturally. also when i do my clients hair i use pink lotion before and maintaining the style it leaves your hair moisturized throughout the style !

I wish I could do this, but I suffer from eczema on my scalp. Would never lasy long bc the second day, my scalp started flaking.
Great tip! I got my ends trimmed right before getting braids done. Definitely had more sticking out than norm
How long should we keep knotless in ? And would you prefer grease or oil to moisturize scalp ??
Eboni Weaver i have really fine hair and mine can last 1 - 1 1/2 months. I would say oil because grease would cause you to have to rub it through your scalp.

Your braider was supposed to braid your hair down with beeswax on her fingertips. Keeps your ends moisturized and makes your hair stick to the fibers of pre stretched hair.

That’s what I think less is better because my kids hair got so much gunk and buildup it’s really hard to do tango I’m getting better at it I have to make sure I wash it and not a lot of product thank God for RUclips videos where the hell is when I was growing up
