Nice review. At 314 miles max range this actually looks good for non-city driving. On a general note, which electric vans do you think would make good converted campers?
314 kilometres Jeff 😉 This would be up there but for more space the eSprinter. It needs a bigger battery. Then you have the new Volkswagen ID. Buzz....
@@NevoEVReviewIreland Gah too used to UK car reviews lol. The eSprinter looks like a good shout. The Buzz looks pretty but will be hilariously overpriced.
Very good video. I have ordered 2 Vans in january and I hope I will get them this year. To me: small electrican company who works regional. I hope I can save a lot of money with my photovoltaic
Good review, the telematics really put me off getting one of these, same with the Stellantis, all this constant RF radiation is bad for us. My ENV200 has none (provided the bluetooth is switched off on the stereo)
Just confirmed with Mercedes-Benz Ireland that the demo van I had did not have Cruise Control. As for whether its available as an option, they will raise this question with their colleague when he returns from his annual leave next week and revert. The eVito panel van starting price is €46,178, excluding VAT of 23%. This qualifies for the SEAI grant available for electric vehicle purchases. (This is for the A2 length and the same vehicle specification in the demo van I reviewed).
If anybody has the time could they please provide me with the internal cargo dimensions and price if that two was put on screen Don’t worry my wife would again be the camper driver Cheers
Thanks for the comment Verne. Please find all internal dimensions below. I hadn't gotten an Irish price at the time of filming. Let me try and get that today. - Length 2,831mm* - Load volume 6.0m3 - Max. width 1,685mm - Width between wheel arches 1,270mm - Height 1,391mm - Rear loading height (step height from ground to load floor) 558mm - Longer length chassis 3,061mm* *Measured on vehicle floor and includes 370mm for the space beneath the front seats.

@@NevoEVReviewIreland thanks you are a great resource We are inquiring about importing a Peugeot expert or Peugeot MPV although the MPV range is a concern so we may get the 70 5KWH expert and have a couple of seats and a couple of windows fitted if it proves practical to import it into New Zealand Cheers
Got one of these for work I'm absolutely dreading it my kango was like 3 and a bit meter's this thing is huge not suitable for my job a lot of start stops about 500 a day very hilly on the back roads of donegal I can only imagine the turn circle is insane I do about 160km a day I'm hoping it won't be able to do it and go back to my beloved kango.
@@NevoEVReviewIreland they say its due to range man I'll have a ginormous van with feck all in the back, suppose I'll have to just put up and shut up at least I'll have a decent sound system. The one thing I thought was really strange for such a big van the side mirrors are tiny I'd use them mirrors an awful lot for backing in driveways and stuff. Who knows I might love it. Ps great video exactly what I was looking for thank you.
they look the same as the original one, can’t they at least update the appearance of this van? also the infortainment system, with this price tag, can you not give us some crap from the 80’s? this is a mercedes, give us something better, and why not give us a awd or 4x4, this van is terrible in the snow, peopel still need to work during winter, please make someting more practical for drivers. i’m sure its difficult for the guy to do a review on this van every year since its the same every year.
It's an electric van. Handling won't be an issue with 67 miles of range from a full battery in the cold. Hourly rate will double when sparkies and plumbers get forced to use these short-range milk floats to get about.
Let me know what you think of the 2nd Gen eVito in the comments below
awesome vehicle, great range
Yes indeed! New version with larger battery coming soon too
Nice van.
Keep up the good work.

Thanks Des
Great review, thank you

Thanks for the comment Thomas. You should all going well.

Not sure if the telematics are standard on all models
Getting better but that front grille needs to be aerodynamic.
It's the logical next step
whats eVito's range with full cargo???
They usually give the range with 50% cargo. Probably nearer 220km with a full payload
Has any parking sensor or camera? How can i park so big van without that?
13.1 kwh/100 kmh in 60 kwh battery net it means 400 km without weight? This is increadible. The consumption of most of vans it's about 20-25 kwh.
I was very impressed with the consumption too! Yes it has parking sensors and camera if I remember correctly. Thanks for the comment
No cruise control?
Oh! I never spotted it and wonder if it's an extra package here in Ireland. Let me confirm tomorrow but ai see it's on the UK ones
