  • I have created a paper version of a peony rose. I made a smaller and a larger version, with the ulterior motive of possibly making a bouquet in the future with the larger design.

Can I ask about the bigger sizes: 6x12 (for the big petals), 5x10 (small petals): how many centimentals we will fold back? At the 4:02

Good question. Someone asked the same recently, so this very morning I got the prototype out of a box, because I couldn't remember and it turns out I folded back 1.2 cm from the smaller 10x5 cm paper rectangles and 1.4 cm from the larger 12x6 rectangles. You can't make a big mistake there, as the petals inside will be smaller anyway due to the difference in paper size. Have fun folding!

I love the revision to the design! May I ask the dimensions for folding for the bigger version? Like how much to fold from the ends? Thanks!

Hello, how you manage to fold the leaves without tearing the paper?? I am using 80gr paper is that ok for the flower??

I also use 80 gram paper most of the time, regular office colour copy paper, and it doesn't tear. When finalising a fold, you might want to make sure you don't force it too much. My tip is to never use a fingernail or other sharpening tool to finalize the crease, just your fingertip.
