Thing is AJ speaks and reveals every single weakness he has, sometimes I wish he'd put these interviews out after the fight. Garcia reminding of the basic fundamentals that should never leave the forefront of your mind, training like you have nothing and everything to gain should be as normal as breathing. Dude once said an hour after Floyd would leave the club he would be running. Dude said Crawford is often the first in the gym and the last to leave. I don't think it's that hard to become a world champion, it's staying there that is the diligence of focused thought and true living, you know what living a sport looks like? Lewis Hamilton, that boy don't skip a beat, the Williams sisters, the baller Messi or Renaldo, Misty Copeland, its their work ethic and approach to their craft why I study them, not so much their gains.

@@bolingoli4822 can’t disagree with that as you’re factually correct - Usyk *is* a way better boxer than Joshua. Usyk masterclass incoming on August 20th make no mistake.
I think people are overlooking the fact that AJ is fighting a man whose country is in a war which he was fighting in, his visably annoyed by the media not understanding the serious of the situation, this is Usyk with a motive…..you’re fighting a way different animal than, i really don’t think Usyk will lose!
Hahaha. So much drama. Actually, Usyk is not fighting in anybody's war. He's not a soldier. And as a former solder the only way I would want him anywhere near me is if we're having a boxing match against the enemy. Usyk is doing moral stuff. Putting on camo and posing with guns and real soldiers for photo-ops. I don't know if you're really that gullible or not. Its hard to tell. No disrespect to Usyk. The guy is clearly a great fighter and Joshua's problem is cardio. He doesn't have the cardio to keep up with Usyk for 12 rounds. For the same reason he wouldn't be able beat Tyson Fury. But Tyson Fury beats Usyk for sure. He has everything. Size, height, cardio, speed, and KO power. Nobody is beating him, if he's still fighting.
AJ need to find his animal side again. I loved him when he was KO artist, not cause he smashed his opponents, but for the behavior on the ring. Now he is like "i know boxing , its a sweet science blah blah blah , but he doesn't put pressure on the oponents. The whole thing it doesn't work like that. If you are 2 meters tall , 100+ KG and power to knock out everyone, you don't let cruiserweight to control your fight for 12 rounds straight.
He was a ko artist against tin cans and heavyweights who were over the hill. Eddie did a great job with him but the fact is he's very average in terms of skill footwork chin and stamina just immense power but that's not enough against the top fighters.
@@leilasuley the old aj was fighting tomato cans. He's just not very good. Power alone isnt enough against the top fighters. We'll see but he's gotta knock him out early to win I just cant see it.

I respect AJ highly and I would have loved if in his era he was the greatest but it’s frustrating that the greatest of his era is Fury. Fury without a doubt has been preordained to be the greatest of this era. To loose 147lbs and to perform how he performed in the wilder fights tell me he is was made to be unbeaten in this era
Possibly. It's just the fact Fury has half the amount of top 10 wins and a quarter of the amount of mandatory defences and 2 x times busted for peds. If Fury fights and beats some more ranked fighter's in his last couple of fights then he could be seen as best of his era.
If AJ really idolised Mike Tyson, he’d take into account that Mike was an aggressive fighter. Mike got his respect for brutally finishing his opponents in my opinion . When AJ’s career was on the rise, he was brutally finishing opponents. Fair enough they were all bums but that aggression and that hunger is something AJ has to find again and use to his advantage.

@@Tnz69 I think we can blame the corner for that. When you are inside the ring it's almost impossible to score your fight, and the corner has a duty to communicate the scores to you, but Rob failed to do that. Joshua tried to beat Usyk at his own game, bad decision but it was bold to try and it makes sense that he had a period of focusing on boxing craft especially with everyone banging on about him being robotic. People are always so critical, you cant win. If he plays to his own strengths he has a good chance. In the third round against Pulev, Joshua went for it and looked savage but Pulev wasnt cooked and Joshua managed to not gas out and got him out of there later. He's learned! AJ should just leave the whole idea of being "respected" to a later date and try to beat the opposition in front of him. Nobody is going to respect you as a fighter if there's no title or belts attached to your name. You don't demand respect as a fighter you earn it by beating daylights out of your opponents and then they'll respect you as a fighter. It's a gamble though if he comes out and throws power punches he's capable of taking usyk out. HOWEVER, he could get flopped himself if he comes out banging. His chin is poor and usyk good end it in 2 rounds.
@@lekanosagie Then he should at least analyze his opponent. AJ is good at that $hit... I think, he is angry and still has no clue of who Usyk is. But thinks sheer force is gonna do it. The only way AJ comes back after the 8th round is if AJ sleeps a little on the canvas that is gets knocked down, to motivate him to win and also get him rested. Just like he did with Vlad.
AJ simply does not have what it takes to beat Usyk. Usyk is levels above in skillset and mindset and AJ knows this, he is beaten already he is surrounded by YES men blowing smoke up his arse and massaging his ego.

You don't have to be an AJ fan to give this guy credit for what he has done for the sport of Boxing. Fury may be the best Heavyweight right now, at least on paper anyway, but Joshua together with Eddie Hearn resurrected Boxing in this Country, with the help of others of course
People the comments are making dumb statements. "Why is he giving interviewers time?" It's called promotion. He has too.. I think AJ has the talent and the ONE thing he really should've done sooner is adjust and change his training methods/coaches. He has the most impressive resumes of fighters he's fought period. Wilder beat a lot of non ranked bums, some low ranked after looking at their records. I think mostly Americans expect fighters to be a certain way.. stereotyped in most ways. The AJ mindset of his first 15 fights is what needs to return, the hungry vicious AJ. The only times we’ve seen that aggression and needle from him is when people disrespect him, like D Whyte, the big baby Miller press conference, Pulev fight.
When people are respectful he doesn’t seem to come out firing as hard.
He really needs to get stuck in to Usyk this time…just like everyone told him to do in the last fight but he chose to box the boxer & come up short, lesson learned let’s hope. Come on AJ! 💥🥊

A man who has nothing to lose is a dangerous man
Thing is AJ speaks and reveals every single weakness he has, sometimes I wish he'd put these interviews out after the fight.
You think AJ is not like those elite in terms of putting in work and dedication? Tell me when last did you see him

Nobody knows what will happen hence it's so exciting! Personally I think one of them will get caught first and then a war will break out that could end with either man victorious but more likely Usyk. Kind of hope its AJ though even though it would be great for the people of Ukraine if Usyk wins. By rights Fury should fight them both either way if he wants to claim to be best of his era.
