In my opinion, the Eastman recording of this suite is THE authoritative version. No other recording I've ever heard matches this one, for interpretation, musicianship and overall understanding of the score.
Eastman and the U.S. military bands. . . . . the 1st Mvt. has to be especially crisp with articulations. Gotta listen to the pitch real close in the chromatic lines.

I loved playing this in high school. Good times!
Marvellous Suite, indeed THE authoritative performance!
Fantastic, this is the best interpretation I’ve heard of this composition. Congratulations and good job to all!
