Man, it's been a HOT minute since we did a dub for Little Witch Academia. This actually made me nostalgic ngl. I basically started my channel back then to collab with Vanille and I never expected it to get the traction it has now.
Speaking of Vanille, hello I love her Diana so much. She's such an amazing performer I've been looking up to for a while so I could only hope my Akko can match her performance.
Last but not least, HAPPY PRIDE! I know I'm posting this right at the tail end of June but it still counts right? Right?? :''D My staff is comprised of so many members of the LGBT+ community so of course I just /had/ to do something for Pride.

I would just like to say that I am insanely impressed with the voice acting in this comic dub. For starters, they gave Diana an English accent like should is suppose to have being that she has lived UK all her life. The accent also doesn't sound terribly forced so either the voice actress is actually English or they just have a very strong grasp on the accent making it so that it seems natural. Next, Akko's voice actress fits perfectly for this character. She had a very peppy tone in her voice which complimented Akko's personality perfectly. Also Akko speaks with a slight accent and has different pronunciations for certain words making this actress fit Akko even better. I am unsure if it is just how the actress normally talks, or was used for this character, but giving Akko a small slur in her words makes her voice acting more believable because English is Akko's second language in the story. Even in just small instances like not using a hard I while saying, "Diana", makes Akko seem real and like she is actually speaking a second language. Over all, kudos to the actresses in this dub. It was extremely well put together and this was better than the official dub in a million ways.

I'm the one who played Akko and since English is my second language too, it was just a matter of slipping a bit of normal way of speaking in here 😂

Well if you're referring to "The Owl House" please know that "The Owl House" premiered in 2020, while the original "Little Witch Academia" OVA released in 2013, and the show preferred in 2016..
