I was interested to know if there is a way to dissolve two polygons only. Say you have Uganda and its neighboring country. How can you dissolve them while leaving the other countries intact?
@@WiseGIS thank you so much. I didn't know how to do it. I had to delete the two polygons and then draw one. Of course, it was a small shape file of a farmers field.

Select the two countries and dissolve selected features only
