Thanks, Luc. Good set, except for the unfortunate B5. And thanks for explaining that change to Lia.
B1: It seems like most people, including me, were in 2D-W making. It's down from the beginning, but Lia doesn't defend correctly... Or I gave her the chance to mess up, take your pick! Very few were in 2H. A couple ended up in 2S, for a bottom.
Anyway, thanks for your commentary and explanations!

B1: Neither Luc nor I found the winning spade shift after winning the 2nd round of clubs (partner has to duck and then we can get a S ruff after winning AD) but Luc's Lia misplayed by ruffing with the DT after Luc's 3rd round of clubs. It never occurred to me partner cashed a blank A of hearts so I'm thinking she has the HK and we can force a S guess after 3 rounds of H. Lia is going to have to lead a C off dummy anyway after winning the HQ so we'll get a trump promotion anyway if there is one to be had. If my reasoning is off, feel free to explain to me why.
B2: Our system doesn't allow us to play 3NT unless I lie. Partner asked for a 5 card major after I opened 1NT. Still, Luc got lucky with the lie of the cards.
B3: Draw, identical auction, similar line of play.
B4: Draw, identical auction, similar line of play.
B5: This time Luc didn't get so lucky playing 3N with an 8-card major fit. Win some, lose some, I guess.

#1 If pd had HAK they may have started H rather than C, maybe?

#2 If u upgrade to 1S (I didn’t but thought about it), then pd probs gets to show a balanced hand with 3-cd-S, then u can choose. 4S is probs better though, as in 3N you need to avoid a D lead, and find LHO with 3 spades.

@@grahamlucy6627 #1 yes and they also might have acted over 2D with Axxx AKxx Qxx xx. Still, cashing the blank AH before playing the 2nd club makes no sense?
