Among the works in Longchen Rabjam's famous collection, the Seven Treasuries, is this book commonly known as the Chöying Dzod.
Longchenpa, also known as Longchen Rabjam , ‘Infinite, Vast Expanse of Space’, or Drimé Özer (1308-1364), was one of the most brilliant teachers of the Nyingma lineage. He systematized the Nyingma teachings in his ‘Seven Treasures’ and wrote extensively on Dzogchen.

Sometimes I feel like I need to stop and get an explanation of the deep parts, so I can go on and really understand. Is there something where I can find simple explanation of the essence of your readings? Thank you!
I wouldn't be too concerned with trying to understand all of this teaching intellectually Marianna as some of the jargon is very specific to Tibetan Buddhism and the cultural context. The gist of the teaching is what is important -freedom from all conceptual elaborations - and I think Longchenpa communicates that beautifully and clearly. However, if you really want to go into it deeper and into all aspects of it, he actually wrote his own commentary to his root text. Incredible, huh?! Lovely to know these are helping Marianna. You know I have listened to this teaching about 15-20 times already - each separate part - and still I hear something new and deeper each time. The wisdom of this Master is insurmountable so the depth of understanding just keeps on going. Yes, listen again and again. And of course if you can do it in a meditative state - sitting still with no outside distractions and listening with the heart rather than the head - the teachings will penetrate all of your being. @@SamaneriJayasara Yes, actually I am using the readings when meditating. Or also when just doing my muscle excercise or yoga and not thinking about anything, just moving and listening:-). The combination has surprisingly great effects 😊.
