Actually fun fact, chickens can and will eat their own eggs. I feed my pet chickens leftover omelets and I have a chicken keeping friend who gives the the whole egg. The shell and egg both have lots of nutrients. Chickens will even eat chicken. I have given my chickens leftover chicken meat or sometimes the bone from the chicken drumsticks and by the time I go back out the next day it’s gone.
