I don't think people care at all. This is not the 20th century. We're in the 21st century and times have changed. Marriage is legal for gays in England and many European countries and homophobia is dying off slowyly but surely.
I think you misunderstood me. I simply meant that Larry, the ship, is important to the people that spend most of their time on the internet for them, it's important to the girls who made friend online because of larry, to the artists that make fanart, to the young writers that spend up to 3 hours a day writing fanfiction, to those who come up with theories and make videos on youtube, to all the people who believe in true love because they believe that larry is real, to the people who feel valued and accepted in the larry community on tumblr, instagram, twitter, etc., I only mean to say that lots and lots of people do care about it (larry was 2014's second most reblogged ship on tumblr, and 2015's 1st) Larry has been talked about ever since the band was formed, and these shippers have been there ever since, and now it's more of a conspiracy theory rather than a "fanfiction". Larry, real or not, matters to so many people..

I am a larrie, like hell I love them, I love the idea of them together but every little “friendly” interaction isn’t romance. Yes I believe there was something there, but the fact that people still push that on them in the coming 2019 is a little much. It’s coming up on 4 years, give it a rest. Louis saying he was proud of Harry for starring in Dunkirk is not and never will be evidence of them together. They should be able to speak or look at the other while they’re speaking (which is just plain respect, friends or not) without having to worry somebody is going to freak out. They should be allowed to hang out in the new year, and in the past years without the event being read into so deeply.
I completely agree with you. I'm a larrie as well but enforcing a sexuality on them without knowing if its actually real is just obnoxious. Regardless of whether they're together or not, we should let them have their privacy instead of pushing them to be something they're probably not.

I haven't gone out of my way at all lol, every Larry knows what I wrote, it ain't original. I respect whoever they want to be with and if larry isn't real that's cool, but I think it was and possibly still is real, but that doesn't really matter. I just think it's weird how they would care that people ship them when they got asked about it in 1D interviews they didn't seem bothered by it at all. In fact, Louis blocked a fan he followed when she posted on her stories that Larry disgusted her and that she didn't like Harry's concert cus he focused it to mutch on pride. So many male celebrities get shipped with their friends and it's not a big deal. That tweet though is 100% not real, Liam literary tweeted a picture of Louis sleeping on a plain at the same time the tweet was posted, and Louis doesn't write like that, not that that is a proof at all, all it proves is Louis didn't write it. There is a lot of videos, such as Harry saying Louis was his first crush, Louis always in my hearth Harry Styles tweet, Louis calling harry sun in the background of Lotties Snapchat, their matching tattoos, Louis at Harrys concert and a security guard speaking to fans saying his boyfriend was there, etc, I don't think it's a crazy assumption that they might have been in a relationship, especially considering modest being notorious for hiding gay relationships, but again not a big deal if they are/isn't. Maybe they aren't and were never and it's all just a fanship and nothing more, is there anything wrong with that? It's literary the most lighthearted thing ever, most of us just want them to be happy. There are some "crazy" obsessed Larries for sure, but that shouldn't reflect every person who believes Larry is real, just as those obsessed stalkers who follow their every move also don't reflect the whole one direction fandom.

I think the whole problem with this Larry/Zarry or shipping situation in the band is the fact that zarries ship their people without putting pressure on the boys or going as far as threatening or saying Zayn girlfriend or financé is not real and it’s just a job. Remember when Zayn was in 1D, he was engaged to Perrie (little mix). But I never see any Zarrie calling Perrie fake or insisting the engagement is a cover up. Same with Gigi. I don’t see any Zarrie insisting she is a cover up or her baby is fake or not for Zayn. They just ship them peacefully, same way with other ships in the band (Ziam. Zouis, Narry). But with Larries!!!! Oh it was FAR!!! Remember at first the boys didn’t have any issue with it because it sounded funny, it’s what the fans wanna do, it sounded unprovoking at that time. When it became so disgusting and uncomfortable is when larries decided to start looking for stupid evidences to insist and push the narrative that Louis is gay or how Eleanor or Danielle is fake. Hi dear, I agree with you 90%, lol I believe that shippers are jokes, like Zarry/Narry, they are not abusive. Larry's are another matter. The ten percent disagreement is that they broke up because of the fans. The pace of work these boys were surreal, Zayn slept for ten minutes and had to wake up to record, and he got sick. But this break was good, they grew, they evolved as singers, and if one day they want to come back, it will be great. A hug.🤗

In my opinion, I feel like media, and Larry stans ruined Harry and Louis' friendship. Everyone was so sure of what was happening between the two when in reality, you weren't there with them behind the scenes. You were only going off a minute worth of videos. Before Larry and fans fighting trying to act like they know the boys personally, they were so much closer and now they barely look as happy as they were before. I also believe that if Larry was real, it isn't anymore. Fans that are dragging it way out of proportion by making assumptions that during the break they're secretly seeing one another and all this other stuff is ruining the fandom. If they were, its not any of our business. If you were a real Larry Stan, you wouldn't continue to spark rumours which are quite frankly making the situation between the band members awkward. No hate to any Larry stans, just my belief.

@@keren468 I watched a few Zarry and Larry documentaries. Both super interesting with good proofs. I also watched a Ziam one. Its interesting how they are multiple ships with Zayn and Harry, one of them at least has to be wrong. But overall its hard to say, they were all super close and I think its easy to make stuff bigger than what they really are. I do enjoy watching these types of videos though and hearing all the sides.

People are saying that Zayn is very unappreciative. Well first of all, when the boys auditioned in X Factor, they auditioned as solo artists, they never intended to be a band. As 16/17/18 year olds, they'd try it out or else they would have needed to go home. Second, Zayn did not like the music One Direction sang to, he makes completely different music now, if he never joined the band, he'd probably still be famous, he just wouldn't be looked at the same. People are also saying if he didn't like the music, why didn't he leave in the first place instead of staying in the band for 5 years? Well, he signed a contract, he couldn't leave; it was illegal.

ive never been mad for zayn leaving the band. yes, it broke my heart into a million pieces and it felt awful to see him leave, but he did it for his own good and im so proud of him for being so brave. im really exited for his album. hes my little boy from bradford and hes still smashing it, and he will always do.
To be honest, I ship Larry, but don't annoy them on something that they have a completely different perspective on. Their are some things that make Larry seem so real, like if you watch the 90 larry moments, that is something that harry and louis have the business of. In that larry moment video i mentioned, harry even stated that him and louis were dating, and harry had said he had a crush on louis, some things may have meant something and somethings may have didn't, there is a truth that they won't admit, but they have talked about a special relationship that they had and haven't had a problem with talking about it, but as they get further and further away from the time the band broke up they keep denying larry more and more. They have kissed and have huged on camera and off camera in a special way but you don't have to do any of that to be lovers, so think what you think but dont make them upset.

I don't know. I try to unship and am always very respectful of them - I would never mention it directly or send hate towards Eleanor, Briana, Freddie or whomever because I just want everyone to be happy and I don't care with whom that might be since it doesn't affect me personally either way. Everyone has gone through a hard time.
But I do think this ship has helped many kids who are struggeling with their own sexuality to come to terms with themselves and see that it is ok to be "different". And it doesn't really matter at the end of the day if it is real or not. The community surrounding the ship is very open and inclusive and Harry Styles has created a safe haven for everyone in his personal fandom and at his concerts. So he is in the very least an amazing ally if not a member of the lgbtq community. He may be or may not be part of it - it is not important at this point.
Being in the spotlight like they are at such young ages as well is never going to be easy and I think they have kept some good heads on their shoulders especially considering how crazy their lives have been up until now.
But I just really don't know. The fact that this is all still going strong makes you wonder - there are some things I can't quite explain and that just don't add up so it is really hard to leave that ship behind. "If a rumour doesn't go away it isn't a rumour" as Elton John has once said (Who was also married to a woman once before outing himself, similar things happened to George Michael, Lance Bass etc....).
Considering I have been with Dan and Phil for literally like 10 years and them going through similar phases as we have seen following "Larry" up until now makes it even harder. Because they were really obvious in the beginning, Dan said he was Bi, Phil had been pretty much out from the beginning as gay. Then they were getting more subscribers and people started speculating really hard and we had a couple of years of especially Dan then being very much like "I am so straight it isn't even funny, you better respect that!" because he was not ready for anything public like that. And Phil went back in the closet for him basically (that's love bitch!). And then Dan slowly slipping back into more of a "Well if you got me the right guy- who knows what would happen" mindset, jokingly (kind of). And now 10 years later they are both out and proud and it is great.
Similar to that was Shane Dawsons Journey as well.
I don't want to be invasive and I think as long as it is just theories among ourselves it is not that harmful.
But nobody should be pressured into anything obviously and yeah I think the ship has definitely affected their behaviour towards each other.

I found one direction after our local news station announced that Zayn Malik left the band. xD I was so mesmerized by the beautiful exotic faces flashed on the screen xD And much more impressed when I found out that they can actually sing xD I fell inlove with their song 'Night Changes' and then the directioner virus spread like wildfire in me. I guess I'm too late because 1D is taking a long break and I can feel that they're actually saying goodbye . Well , i hope I'm wrong ... XD I need a cure from 1D ADDICTION! They are the reason why I procrastinate XDD
Personally, I'm very excited to hear Zayn's new solo!! I'll admit, I'm still a bit upset with him, but I moved on! Zayn will always be a part of the 1D family, forever and always!
