All these husbands getting offended by their wives calling them by their names while I've never heard my parents call each other anything but their names
My parents never called each other by anything but their first names, either. But I think it might be a generational thing, because I've probably used my husband's name maybe twice in 10 years, and even then it was a situation where we were somewhere loud and crowded and I needed to get his attention from like across the room or something. If I just randomly said his name like that, it'd be like kicking a puppy, and it'd also be annoying af because I'd have to spend the rest of the day assuring him that I'm not mad at him, and then he and our daughter would start in on their whole "Mom has a shriveled black heart and the emotional range of a goldfish" spiel (which, if I'm honest, isn't *completely* inaccurate), it'd just be this whole thing.
@@notyouruglymind2120 I am not sure I understand your question, but all I can say is, maybe once you are in a serious, close, loving relationship you will understand. It's common for many couples to just have loving, sweet names for each other. After a while, hearing your name randomly come from their mouths just sounds so weird! As another example, I have a nickname I had for years that I love, but in some situations like at doctors offices or first time job interviews, my birth name is used and it feels SO weird and uncomfortable. Trust me, it's not! The dilemma of understanding if she is mad at you or not takes a lot of mental capability. Because women give off a very faint clue regarding their feelings. It's not about the pet names, it's about the pattern. In a relationship, if both call each other by cute names for a long period of time, both get used to this pattern. Also most men doesn't want to make their partner upset in order to avoid emotional conflicts or drama. In this case when a women changes this pattern we immediately recognize that something is not correct, and we start to think about what might have caused this person to suddenly change. So, when the partner calls their boyfriend/girlfriend by their first name, this strongly indicates that this person must have caused this reaction. In simpler terms, this is very close related to passive aggressive behaviour.
I love the almost universal look of utter panic when hearing their actual names. Wait 'til she gets to first, middle and last name. THEN you in trouble.
I think that pet names are a form of affection, and the removal of that pet name might imply that the partner no longer sees them in a favorable light. I think that's why they are seeing it as a possible item of concern or aggression.
I think this is a good showcase of how much these guys value the pet names their significant other gives them. You can tell the couples must use them pretty regularly to be off-put of first names, it's really sweet actually

*Wife calls husband by his government name*
Literally every husband: *UNACCEPTABLE* who's that?
Men swear they hate pet names until you call them their actual names and they get angry and sad because they’re ‘baby’ 😂💖
Even scared sometimes
😂🤣🤣🤣😂😂
Facts
It's not about the pet names, it's about the pattern. In a relationship, if both call each other by cute names for a long period of time, both get used to this pattern. Also most men doesn't want to make their partner upset in order to avoid emotional conflicts or drama. In this case when a women changes this pattern we immediately recognize that something is not correct, and we start to think about what might have caused this person to suddenly change. So, when the partner calls their boyfriend/girlfriend by their first name, this strongly indicates that this person must have caused this reaction. In simpler terms, this is very close related to passive aggressive behaviour.
@@Ainz18 wow. Perfect explanation. 🥺
I love the almost universal look of utter panic when hearing their actual names. Wait 'til she gets to first, middle and last name. THEN you in trouble.
*gets called by his first name*

Half the men are like "am i in trouble?" they're so scared gosh
Same as my husband lol because everytime we fight I call him by his first name 😂
So? Your point is?
Lol
I think that pet names are a form of affection, and the removal of that pet name might imply that the partner no longer sees them in a favorable light. I think that's why they are seeing it as a possible item of concern or aggression.
They’re scared they’ve lost they’re power and control over their partner that’s what they’re scared of
I think this is a good showcase of how much these guys value the pet names their significant other gives them. You can tell the couples must use them pretty regularly to be off-put of first names, it's really sweet actually
Right?! I know, I look sideways at my husband when he calls me by my name.
I love pet names but I can't say "babe" it's uncomfortable so I would say "love" "darling" "dear" or if I'm feeling brave, "baby"
@@PeterorPetrathats literally adorable lol wtf
how much these guys, but need to keep in mind we are watching what they wanted to show to us and what was uploaded, not all the cases
@@senpo7835 i mean my sister and her husband call each other by their pet names and only first name when they are talking about them to someone. ' like xxx went to work' kind of situation. so i wouldnt say it's THAT impossible to believe these are real reactions.
I once dated a guy and called him "babe" for so long that somebody asked me his name once, and for a split second I was like, "Wait, what IS his name?"
😂😂
Lol😂
when they get married their names are also legally changed to:
-babe
-honey
-baby

I'm 100% sure it's because of two things
1- Using a lot of nicknames and pet names
2- *If your mom call your first/complete name, you're in trouble*
Can confirm
My mom says my full name often, but when she stresses it a certain way I know I am in trouble
Tru
my mom never called me by my first name even when she's angry.
she only calls me by my name when she needs me to do something 😂
There are like 5 of us so it can get really confusing. 😂
"She's like, what did you do to my child?"
"child"
"child, come over here"
she's actually saying "anak" Filipino word which translates to "my child"
Only time I use my significant others name is when we're arguing or I'm telling him off 😂
i actually think it's cute that they're disappointed/upset when there wives call them by their names, really shows how they care
I love the way these guys react, almost as if they said another man’s name. Like they’ve never heard their own name before 😂
