You would think Ducati would have top-notch techs. In my area, a Ducati is a premium machine, I imagine the same is true in the USA. You can do anything they can do given the tools and patience... Well, it sounds good. Good job...
I had similar problem and did what you did only to find one of my injectors was totally clogged due to that ethanol crap in the fuel. At that point the tank, air box etc all had to come off. Total pain in the a$$. My bike was the '05 Multistrada. After ALL that, we still found the fuel sensor (sending unit) was bad and not sending the correct readings to the computer which also caused fuel pump issues and would intermittently shut it off while riding.
you will need new clamps for sure and I would do the filters too. I also ran a can or royal purple extreme injector cleaner though the tank after install
at 1:24 you can see the end of the hose. I sold the bike so I working off memory here, but I believe there is a clip that slides out then they just pull off. Or maybe some sort of push lock, sorry I can't be more help.
Man, I’m just as floored as you after seeing that pump. Try not to use fuel with ethanol as it attracts water. If you can’t, get some Amsoil quick shot and treat fuel when the bike is stored.
You were a lot calmer than I would have been John. Thanks for sharing brother. Glad you got it figured out though.

Damn sorry to hear that. I got pretty lucky I suppose.
Don’t know nothing about this, but gave full watch for ya 🏍
great video!!!!!
Watching again bro, I just wish I could leave a second 👍
thanks
Hello
1. I hope you cleaned out the tank.
2. I hope you cleaned up the flange before installing the new gasket.
Take Care
yes, I wiped everything down really well before reassembling.
Thanks for sharing 👍
Great repair Procut🙏👍🙏👍🙏👍
I agree, no one would ever put that pump back in. Water in fuel causes a lot of issues, especially with ethanol blends.
ethanol is the worst
Looks like the old saying ..if you want things done properly ..do it yourself..
Truer words were never spoken
rolling
thanks so are you
To remove and replace fuelpump, do you need anything extra to reinstall it? Or can you simply reuse whatever came off?

How do you get de fuel lines of?

Squeeze the plastic ring on top of clip and they pop off
Don't forget the likes guys..

@@TheProCut17 some people definitely not liking. 2 came from me but I know some peeps just don’t do it for some reason 🤔🤔

I always try to get 100% gas sadly the last batch was straight water this is what caused all the problems
And I thought Harley service sucked. All customer service is gone. Is all that crud rust or dirt? Hope you got it fixed.
Rust I guess not really sure. Still need to get the injectors serviced.
@@TheProCut17 If it's rust you will need to get it off the inside of the tank or it will just plug things up again.
