I'm an RS3 ironman myself. Not going to overwhelm you with information but remember the Wiki is your best friend. Also don't beat yourself up if you aren't doing all the daily activities that are recommended to you. They're good but they aren't worth burning yourself out on!

You still need tools to do the skills (like the fishing net, knife, etc..), but these tools can be stored in your tool belt (which is accessible in the equipment tab). In the beginning the tool belt already contains some basic items, and over time you'll be able to add more and more cool stuff to the tool belt.
    Hope that helps!

I stopped playing OSRS after a while and returned to RS3.
I still play on legacy mode, so its the old combat system (no action bar/abilities) and I love it.
My only gripe is that new boss content cant be completed in legacy mode, as it all requires the mental dps from the abilities.
    It's still fun tho!

RS3 has something called the Toolbelt. This holds all your most important tools. With higher lvs you can upgrade some of them (pickaxes, hatchets, and mattocks). There’s also a slayer section to it.

I came back to RS3 a few years ago, and while I don't know a lot about RS3 ironman, I believe there's a lot of good resources on the wiki. If you want a bit of focus, I'd suggest either filling out the toolbelt, or quests. A lot of the newer quests in RS3 are incredible, but sadly there's a lot of mediocre quests from RS2 that you're probably familiar with that you need to get through first.

Someone probably already mentioned, but I recommend learning manual mode for your action bars, you can find it in the options under gameplay. Revolution is ok for learning, but manual lets you do way more damage, because you can use your skills as you please. Also the glowing rocks when mining are rockertunities, its a guaranteed crit and fills your progress bar by a ton. I defintly recommend playing some more. As much as I like Osrs, i can't really get into it, because i have already playing since around 2005 or so, and starting fresh takes a bit.

This is super refreshing, watching a new person coming to rs3 without prejudgment.
    Some tips:
Organise your UI to be as compact and understandable as you can, it will grow as you unlock more things so keeping it organised is helpful
Focus on questing to start, there is an optimal guide on the wiki to minimise time on skills
    Do your dailies
Explore the new areas like anacronia, hets oasis, etc...
Make sure you look up good layouts for your ability bars as it's hard to work out on your own, but guides are there to help out
Do Wilderness flash events as soon as you can for early gold and XP
Early bossing like God Wars is really not great in RS3, so avoid rushing it, instead focus on getting your Magic level up so you can do elite dungeons for much better xp
    Have a good time!

Different audiences and what you value for your time I play Rs3 mostly and like pvm osrs is a grind for skill which can be fun but it's pvm suck I beat all raids and bosses easily no effort but on rs3 I actually can't tab out and watch a movie it actually takes some skill to boss and it's faster to skill up bc the point of rs3 is bossing not sitting around skilling 2 completely different games but I prefer a game where bossing is actually more challenging when I wanna sit around and have nothing to do I will afk and play osrs tho

Lmao chill, kid... Let the dude whatever he wants.
Osrs is way harder yeah, in the sense of you need to click and wait for thousands of hours, the grind is crazy, rs3 is extremely easy to lvl up and maxing an account requieres no crazy time commitment, however all pvm is waaaay more complex and harder than any piece of pvm you can do on osrs, so... Not sure what you consider spoonscape lol

@@gagasaurio12 not really a kid, I fully understand that some prefer RS3, just not for me. I refer to it in such terms after playing RS for almost 19 years and never once said he couldn't do what he wanted. As a fan of his osrs content I was just asking if he would be playing both, a legitimate question from someone subbed to the channel.

@@singerderek1404 There will still be OSRS content for sure! I'm glad you are a fan sir! Both games have their ups and downs for sure, osrs is a much much more time consuming game for skilling haha, I just wanted a series to fill the gap during those grinds!

RS3 is fun but it’s too much stuff to get into. So many currencies and items that I have no idea why they even exist. Also the case opening mechanic is bad. I got 150-200 keys just because of Twitch Prime and I got so many items I didn’t work shit for. For mining and wood cutting it‘s really pleasant and from what I’ve heard the PVM is amazing in RS3 but I have no personal records in RS3 PVM.

I've also heard that keys are super broken. As an ironman I don't have access to those, so hopefully I don't get super spoon-fed xD I agree there are tons of items I have no clue the purpose of them, in time I hope to become much more knowledgeable about this game and have fun doing it. Maybe we could PVM sometime!

I like seeing OSRS players try out RS3. You should’ve tried out the Fresh Start Worlds?
Check out these RS3 content people, Init Yeah, NuzzNuzz, Silenced, Protoxx. Maikeru guides and vids are still good to watch.
Just wait till you start trying out bosses. And getting gear and unlocking Invention for perks. Then it will start getting confusing.

I have made a separate account on the FSW, That will be my main character and I will definitely be checking out content creators to learn more! I have noticed the end game gets a bit confusing, but with good community help we will triumph!

The game is honestly fun. I swapped over from osrs ironman to rs3 ironman in jan 2020. Just look at it as a separate game from osrs. Its hella fun.
