Very well done Sir. The only thing you missed is at 15:00 that must be an inside thread to secure the knob to the potentiometer, not a hole, but that is a minor detail. For the rest very well done.
@@kattkushol Lately i try to make a thread with just a profile sketch and a helix, but i am not sure if the Part WB has a helix. The hole feature in the PartDesign is also a good alternative for standard threads. Anyway, good job.
FreeCAD is not a bad program but it needs to work on the UI, It's not very intuitive. At the moment I use SW and I'm looking for an opensoure alternative.
It will take a moment for freecad to provide the feel we get from other commercial software packages, mainly because freecad is free and others can pay hefty salaries for software programmers. Having said that, I hear great things about the next update of freecad. Sketching is overhauled.
