With regard to Calvinism teaching that God determines all things, including what flavor jello you choose...what about the Calvinist teaching of creaturly freedom? Calvinists believe that many choices are indeed free for us to choose, but it's limited to choices that are nonconsequential in God's ultimate plan. Choosing a flavor of jello, for example, would be one such choice.

Most leading Calvinist scholars reject the idea that creatures have what's called libertarian freedom, or the ability to choose such that prior conditions do not causally determine one's choice. So, insofar as a Calvinist affirms libertarian freedom in at least one or more circumstances, he is outside of mainstream Calvinism. - RF Admin

    The Westminster Confession of Faith
    CHAPTER 3
    Of God’s Eternal Decree
God from all eternity did by the most wise and holy counsel of His own will, freely and unchangeably ordain whatsoever comes to pass; yet so as thereby neither is God the author of sin; nor is violence offered to the will of the creatures, nor is the liberty or contingency of second causes taken away, but rather established.
When I read Calvinist Confessions they don't seem to affirm causal determinism.

If Determinism is true then all that exists is God and a bunch of Robots hat think they have a free will. Am I right?

I'm a Calvinist. We have true free will. But we can only act in according to our nature and that nature is dead when it comes to responding to God.

@@johnschutt9187 so where in the bible says that humans can only act according to their nature (even when the Holy Spirit was convicting them)?
Why does God want everyone to repent while building them without the ability to repent? Even John Mcarthur can't answer this question
Imagine you're born without a pair of feet, so you don't ever want to become a marathon runner, and God only allows the marathon runner who reaches the goal line to come to heaven. Then how can that be a just God?
