- guys i'm sO EXCITED FOR THESE NEW POKEMON GAMES AND ALL THEIR NEWFANGLED DIAGONAL WALKING AND SUCH. so here's the girl trainer and fletchling.
about two hours in photoshop, used the hard round brush with the opacity set to change with the pen pressure for pretty much the whole thing.
oh gosh, i just realized i messed up the editing, i guess i cut a bit out kind of in the middle-ish. yuck, i'm sorry about that!

The warping is done with Liquify, and flipping the canvas is a separate thing to make sure you're drawing symmetrically. Hope it helps.

Aw thank you! It's the liquify tool under the filter drop down menu. :) I'm pretty sure there's a shortcut for that but who even knows what that is haha
Gosh I can't decide! Haha, for now, I want to get whichever version you can get Xerneas in, but I think I'm gonna wait and see what the version exclusives are like. :)

Oh gosh haha, does it really look like a watercolor effect? I just went around some of the shadow edges with a really small brush with the color of the lines. :)

from about 2:55 to about 3:02, when you flip the canvas an are warping the drawing, could you tell me what that tool is exactly? I've seen it in a few speedpaints, but I have yet to find it in any version of photoshop that I have, thank you in advance, and I seriously adore your work, keep it up!!
