It will be a horrifying moment for Bible scholars when standing before the Creator of All things; using their intellectually derived interpretation, attempt to explain to Him what He really meant to convey in His scriptures. Supposed knowledge has never ever equalled understanding.
I have spent the last 20 years unlearning the various forms of theology I have studied in past years. Stay with Gods word KJV... 1 john 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him...K.I.S.S. ... Compare scripture with scripture. And on another note, whoever you are who are trying to include some form of works on your part as a requirement for salvation, KNOW THIS ! What you are actually saying is that the blood of Almighty God Jesus Christ was not enough to pay for ALL sin. He took your place , salvation is a free gift received by faith alone. I pray that you believe now and if you do you can know for sure that you have eternal life. God bless you.

Aren’t we supposed to be “eating” with the heart of our old nature onto the New Nature? So the old nature has Communion? And “whosoever doesn’t eat my flesh(new Nature) and doesn’t drink My Blood ( New Nature) doesn’t have eternal life”?
@into-christ If you were honest with yourself, you would agree it doesnt matter what answer you were given for those 2 verses and etc... tou have your mind made up about your and others salvation...that we have to work for it. You should probably not view this type of teaching anylonger. It is not profitable for you.
Free gift means paid for. But I comes with obedience. Obedience is the key. You don't have to accept a free gift, but if you want a free gift, you have to follow with obedience. Obedience doesn't mean working for something. It's showing your fruit that you accepted what was offered
1 Cor 3:16,17 is talking about what is left of the temple after rewards are burned, which is the foundation, which is Christ in you. If any man destroy that in another person through bad doctrine being taught (or by going back to sin) they will be destroyed. This destruction is eternal (he already talked about all the reward being burned). What is being taught by bibleLine is a lie.
"GOING BACK TO SIN" Did you not listen to this message? Are you perfect? Do you hit the bullseye every...single...time? Jesus said "be perfect as my Father is perfect" Do you do that? If not then you also have gone back to sin. I would argue that you are a bigger sinner then most. Rom 14 say anything not done in faith is a sin. I and other who listen and agree to these teaching are walking in the faith that Jesus has forgiven us for all. We are secure in His work for us. People like you that think He didn't do enough are constantly walking in your flesh. You are " sinning" every...step...of...the...way Ironic, isn't it.
@@MikejHamel It isn't about perfection. But one cannot take that as a subtle excuse to sin. The judgment seat of Christ does burn some of the bad away. But not all. The reason is because the one who goes back to living like the world does not believe the testimony God gives of His son, that He freed them from (having to) sin. It is this person, and the ones who teach doctrines that people then use as an excuse to sin who will suffer eternal damnation. As I said in my post: 1 Cor 3:16,17 are talking about the foundation of Christ in a believer that is destroyed. He already discussed the loss of reward in previous verses. BibleLine not only errs on OSAS but to say one gets eternal life without coming to the light of repentance is impossible because John 1:4 says In Him was life and the life was the light of men. To say you have eternal life without coming to the light (which exposes deeds that are either repented of or kept (as you recoil from the light) is as false as false gets. What they preach is not life nor light. it is not the Gospel.
You need to read all the verses of this chapter. Because it reads no where that your distruction is ethernal. From verse 11 we receive an explanation that our work will be judged by fire. And you will receive a reward by this judgement. And its best to lay a good foundation of your work. That they will be profitable for the glory of God. Verse 15 states clearly that after your works are burned. You will suffer a loss. But that you still are saved. Why would we lose our salvation then if this whole chapter is not talking about this? Verse 17 states our body that will be destroyed. If we are not fruitfull to the Lord than what is our purpose here on earth?
@@juvedeef2301 Rewards are earned or lost based on the work you did on top of the foundation, which is Jesus Christ, the new nature one receives through the new birth. v15 says if any or all of these works, that you built on the foundation of Christ, are burned you shall suffer loss, but still are saved because you have the foundation of Christ (and didn't cause the loss of other's foundation). So that is rewards based on what is built on top of the born again experience. V16 and 17 then describe, past rewards which are already burned, the destruction of what is left of the temple, the foundation of Christ in a person (by doctrines so bad they cause a person to lose their salvation). This is eternal destruction. Remember, rewards are based on what is built on the foundation. v16 and 17 are talking about the foundation of the temple, itself, the new nature of God's life in a person. Further proof is 1 Cor 5:8 where Paul says "keep the feast." He says based on Ex 12 where after passover was the feast of unleavened bread and that if you did not keep the leaven out for the whole 7 days of the feast you were cut off from your people. This means not only must you get malice and wickedness out by getting born again (represented by passover) but keep it out your whole life (the whole 7 days, the "keep the feast"). And still further proof is 1 Cor 6:9,10 where Paul says that those, whether ever born again or not, who live these lifestyles, do not make heaven. So 3 times in 4 chapters of one book Paul shows a Christian can give up their salvation. And this is not even considering Jesse preaches that repentance of sin is not a necessary ingredient of faith to receive eternal life. If Jesus is the life and the life is the light of men (John 1:1-4) then how can one get the life (eternal life) without approaching the light (which can only be done as you repent of your deeds exposed)??

I have not yet seen an "easy believism" proponent who can deal with verses like John 15:6, Gal 5:21 etc sincerely. The only thing they can do is to twist the plain meaning of the text to make it suitable for their convenient theology. According to them even twisting of scriptures itself is not an issue as their salvation is "assured " because once upon a time in their life they believed in christ and that is enough !!!!.
