Her main error (which I too admittedly fell for) was concluding Carmago's involvement in the interference of the election process based on the document showing his email overlayed by the form 34A she presented. Here she clearly failed! Her other error was not properly emphasizing the significance of multiple forms transmitted by a single kiems kit or multiple kits of identical serial number. Keep in mind serial numbers are akin to finger prints in humans. Which brings me to the following: The Judge said IEBC lawyers admitting a manufacturing error to explain off the identical serial numbers in addition to different time stamps, IP addresses and polling codes was a valid reason to dismiss Mrs Soweto's petition. Well this was just a very flawed conclusion. 1. Evidence showed two forms from the same serial number. Admitting manufacturing error means absolutely nothing! The onus was on the IEBC lawyers to PROVE manufacturing error. How? Easy, provide the two kiems kits and show that they have the same exact serial number. This was not done to my knowledge. Admitting manufacturing error is nothing but hearsay. Besides, even if they provided multiple kits with the same serial number, this would have only demonstrated a security flaw on a system they claimed was "military grade". Lose lose situation. Keep in mind Julie Soweto alleged having thousands of similar examples. 2. Different time stamps do not uniquely identify a device. The same device can be used at different times hence different time stamps. 3. A dynamic IP address can change each time you log onto the internet. The same device could be logged in with different IPs. 4. Not enough information was put out to demonstrate how a polling code could be used as a unique identifier for each device.
