Been struggling with a lot of things for a long time. Things that caused me to be anxious and frozen.. But then I watch this and hear the lyrics carefully. The chords and the voices, it's different than what's usual. I'm brought back to what really grounds me. I'm reminded as I look to his face of who He is and who I am to Him. I listen to this song and I'm brought to tears. It's just me and Him. He tells me you are still mine. Everything is stripped away and He says I am clean. He says you don't have to do anything more but abide in me. I laid down my life for you and you will live in that reality. Most of my life I defaulted in shame, but he says now to go live in freedom, rooted in my love. He says I am your best friend and I will always be with you. I love you. He places a banner on my soul declaring victory. He rescues and takes refuge. I'm awakened to a new joy. Jesus with me in every step and every thought. Thank you God.
