Do you think that the q70d is better than the ks7000 (2016) and q7fn (2018) models in all aspects? I had these tvs and wanted the same but with the current new technologies for ps5. Thanks
@snldev If you have a PS5 then yes, it's definitely worth upgrading. It's not necessarily a night and day difference with the overall picture quality, but the support for 4K/120Hz and VRR makes gaming on a next gen system a much better experience. If you want to hear about our best available pricing be sure to give us a call at 800-860-3736!
Do these TVs offer a setting to reduce the volume on extra loud commercials? You know, the ones where you suddenly grab the remote to push the mute button? Or is that something a Samsung sound bar would offer?
@HowardJones-g7s Yes, they do. It's called Auto Volume and it's located in the Expert Settings category under the Sound menu. From the factory it is typically set in the off position, so if you want it turned on you'll need to go into the Sound menu and change it.
@LifeCoachLandry It's not a totally fair comparison because they are different technologies, and different tiers of TVs. The C4 and G4 are both superior to the three TVs in this video. Out of these five TVs, we'd say the C4 is the best combination of everything. If you're looking for the best value, the Q70D is a great pick. For more help, be sure to contact our TV experts at 800-860-3736. They can answer all your questions and tell you about any promotions we have running that can't be advertised online.
This was soooo helpful thank you!!! What about viewing at an angle..do you have to be watching front face or can you view from an angle? Do they lose any equality?
@yashna88 The viewing angles aren't bad on these, but they will lose some color saturation and clarity as you move further off to the sides. If you live in the Chicagoland area please be sure to stop by and see them in person at our store.
@epicbloke There's very little difference between the two. We'd say go with the Q60D since it's newer. If you want to hear about our best available pricing be sure to give us a call at 800-860-3736 or click the chat link in the video description. We'd be happy to help!

I was wondering the same thing. When i check q70d features in samsung site. It says that it has 100 hz. Maybe you increase that with motion xcelerslator?
@BhavinnTrivedi If HDR performance is your primary focus for the TV you'd be better off looking at the Q80D or even stepping up to a Neo QLED model. For the price though, the Q70D does a really good job.
@aviroy7085 The QNED87T6B isn't offered in the US market so it's hard to say exactly, but it looks like that one has a 120Hz refresh rate at the 50" screen size while the Samsung is 60Hz at 50". In that case we'd say go with the LG, especially if you use a next gen gaming system or watch a lot of sports.
@sathvikreddy4206 The Q70D is a fantastic value as you get the 120Hz panel with all the next gen gaming features, but you're not paying the premium for a full array direct lit panel. And while that is a step down, the picture on the Q70D is still very good. You can also give our TV experts a call at 800-860-3736 to hear about any promotions we're running that can't be advertised online.
Interesting because based on what I'm seeing in this video, the Q70 picture looks better than the 80D to my eyes. But when I was comparing them when I was at Best Buy, the Q80 was the winner. I'm thinking maybe they just had the settings on the Q80 tweaked more to entice people into choosing the most expensive model (which was an additional $400). I was trying to decide in between the two. But, unless the Q80 price drops down even farther, I think I'm going to stick with the Q70. I'm not a gamer so I don't need the additional bells and whistles.
@mosinoray If you're using a PS5 then we'd suggest you consider moving up to the Q70D. It supports next gen gaming features like 4K/120Hz and VRR. You can definitely play on the Q60D, but you won't be getting the most out of your gaming system.
