Great review! I've been considering getting a wireless microphone and this one seems like a solid choice.

In simpler terms in RGB spectrum reds are filtered out first followed by green then blue . Eventually the bag has no color

Hmm.... I definitely hear a difference in my set - perhaps reach out to their support and see if you can exhange it

John, Great review. And on a side note,
you kinda remind me of a Muppet character *"Bunsen."* 😁

    Thanks for the great review.
I recently purchase the same kit and it is fantastic. On my wish list is that Hollyland adds an XLR Transmitter that plugs directly into a microphone for Electronic News Gathering to their lineup.

Look up a microphone handle... Basically it's a stick that you attach your transmitter to that turns your transmitter into a handheld mic. Then you pop a windscreen over the transmitter and no one knows it's not an ENG mic!
Best part is these are very inexpensive accessories (it's just a plastic handle)!

The max is more professional work flow. If you're doing a more phone based workflow maybe you can save some money going with the lark.

@@FilmmakerIQ do you think it’ll do just fine for doing interviews at live music events far as the lark m2 goes

    Mahhh! DON”T BUY THESE MIcs.
No 32bit float was a HUGE mistake from Hollyland, it renders these mics redundant.
Both the DJI and Rode wireless mic kits record in 32 bit float, offer the same functionality, if not better and are only a small amount more.
These are aimed at content creators, solo shooters or small/low budget shoots without a dedicated sound recordist so 32bit float is essential.

DJI Mic 2 + DJI Osmo Pocket 3 is a beast of a combination.

I literally explained why 32 bit float is pointless in the video given the specs of this device... They have a 22 dB noise floor and a 128dB max signal input giving them a dynamic range is 106dB... Fits perfectly fine inside the 144dB capability of 24 bit recording standard (which covers the entirety of comfortable audio levels). And if 106dB isn't enough, you're doing something wrong.
The 32 bit float recorders out there don't have much better specs than that (as in they also have similar noise floors and max microphone levels). If you want to pay more ($350 vs $250 at the time of writing this) for the gimmick of "not having to set your gain", fine I guess. But they are going to sound the same as these once you spend two seconds to watch your gain levels.
I'm so sick of the narrative that 32 bit float is essential for solo creators. This is coming from a solo creator for 21 years: ruclips.net/video/y-_t272zvHQ/видео.htmlsi=x4jM6tW6ApX-bHsz
