Piraeus, Greece 1966 - Arrival of the ship "Phaistos"

Description:
We are in the largest port of Greece, Piraeus.
We see the passengers who move on the docks, porters who carry luggage, general views of the port, ships of various uses and sizes that are moored, cranes.
Men in a rowing boat and tug boats lead the ship "PHAISTOS" of the Konstantinos Efthimiadis Lines, coming from Crete, to moor. Numerous passengers, officers, deck workers watch the ship’s approach and mooring process.
The stairs are down, the passengers are disembarking. As the hatchway opens on the side of the ship, in the background we can see part of the sign of the PAPASTRATOS tobacco factory.

one of the many fascinating "Tanker Conversions" that happened from the 1950s to 1960s, most famous being ANEKs Kydon which was a tanker named Wirakel originally
this style largely fell out of fashion due to the Sinking of a Converted Freighter "Heraklion" in 1966 though, which is why you don't really see this kind of ship post 1970s
