Spot on! Took my sons to see Journey several years ago ... and the first half of their show included songs that most had never heard ... even a few fusion tunes that really showed another side of Neal Schon. The sellout crowd was polite enough but clearly that's not why they came to the show. Some actually left! The bass player sensed this pretty quickly and assured the audience, "Don't worry ... we'll get to the 'dirty dozen' shortly." This met with a roar of approval. SOOO ... great advice-- know why your audience came to see you.

Excellent, especially the advice to continue playing the songs that people come to hear.
