Love your top it looks so cosy, your bag Wow! It's so stunning with the contrasting colours, can't wait to see the rest of your makes especially the dress made with that shimmering fabric, happy St. Patrick's Day 💚
Your bag!!! Just the right amount of beauty and bling. Hope the boys have enjoyed showing off their shirts and that you've had a lovely holiday spent with those you love.
Oh mY the Shamrock. I’m in Australia and nearly 66 years old. What a memory that shamrock has for me. I went to St Pats primary school and we had an athletic team and our uniform was a white tshirts with the green shamrock. Such fab memories of my young years. Happy st pats day .
I'm late to watching this ( as normal) but I hope you enjoyed your St Patrick's Day and the boys had fun in their amazing t-shirts, well done 👏🏼. Loved that pot of gold 😊. That really didn't look like a sweatshirt before you stood up, it was just so smart, I really liked that and the colour looked so good on you. You can't go wrong with a sparkly bag and that one looks amazing 😍. Lovely vlog as ever, thank you ❤🍀
Thanks so much Carole! My little boy wore his st Patrick’s day T-shirt again today so that’s a good sign!! The whistler is such a great fancy sweatshirt!!! And sparkles for ever! Looks like you had a great time in the US!!
Your boys’ shirts are adorable, Rachael. I’m sure they’ll enjoy wearing them and being the Boys of the Ball! The Whistler top is beautiful. I’ve avoided buying that pattern, but now I must get it and sew it in some cozy sweatshirting! Wish I could crochet, but that’s not my talent. Love, love love your hearts and shamrock ☘️!
They loved wearing them lynn’ wore them all Thursday and all Friday! The whistler pattern is just great! I would totally recommend it!! Crochet is such a great “couch craft”. Check out bellacoco. She makes things very easy and straighforward!! You can do it!!!!
@@TheFrenchSeams_vlog I’ll check her out, Thanks. I learned some basics years but never did much. You get couch time? 😊 BTW, forgot to tell you how much I love your bag, and I’m looking forward to seeing your dress. The bag you made last year is gorgeous, too. You’re so talented!
Oh my goodness I'll bet your oldest boy is thrilled with his new t-shirt. How wonderful. Your new green Whistler sweatshirt is very becoming on you. You mentioned you had to remove a couple of inches and you're 5.9, wow. At almost 5' (yes, truly one of the little people), it would be a full-length down to the ankles sweatshirt on me. 🤣 I loved your introduction in Irish and that ☘ is so cute My husband's family came from Ireland in 1825 with the Peter Robinson immigration and settled in then very remote community in Ontario. Most of the people there are still very Irish, 200 years later, although I don't know any of them that speak the language. I have been working on his O'Connell and Brady ancestry for quite some time now and I'm just getting ready to start to learn some Irish. Have a wonderful St. Patrick's Day ☘ from Ontario, Canada 🇨🇦 🇮🇪
Hi Leann! He loves the T-shirt, thanks! I was so surprised about how long the sweater was. It’s rare I have to take out length 😉 glad you liked the intro! That’s so interesting about the Irish in Ontario! The that’s so great you’re starting to learn Irish too!!! Happy st Patrick’s day and thanks so much for watching
Love the t shirts for your boys, you are so clever with all your makes. Love the heart garland. I really love your jumper. Always look forward to seeing what you have been up to. Hope your St Patrick’s Day was great. Cheers from Australia. 🇦🇺🇦🇺
Your Whistler came out so nice. One of my favorite winter patterns. I really want to make one in sweatshirt fleece after making two of them in sweater knit fabric. And your little boy's shirts are so cute and clever. Thanks for sharing. Happy St. Patrick's Day.
Thanks Carol! The brushed back French terry fabric worked out really well! I’d love to try a sweater knit now’ happy at Patrick’s day! Thanks for watching
I had it opposite to you growing up. Mom tried spelling or writing notes to Dad so we didnt know what she was saying, but my brother could spell and read fluently by age 2 and I could read and spell by age 4, so that didnt last long. And my mom spoke Dutch as a second language and my dad spoke Hungarian, so the didnt work either. Plus we had picked up a lot of those languages as we went along anyway. In Canada, children are taught French from junior kindergarten to the first 2 years of high school. But I began learning it in grade 7 and my brother began in grade 10 since that was the year it became law that we had to learn French as a second language. However we enjoyed it and became pretty fluent in it and it came in handy for us when we wanted to plan surprises for our mom for birthdays, Christmas, Mother's day, etc. She was notoriously difficult to plan a surprise for. We would go upstairs and lock ourselves in my brother's closet and whisper our plans and no matter how quiet or sneaky we were, she always knew what we planned. That all changed when we learned French. We stood right in front of Mom and discussed our plans and she had no idea what we were saying to each other. It drove her crazy. Lol. The only problem was that I was taught France French (which is more proper and clear in pronounciation) and my brother was taught Quebec French (which uses more slang and has a more guttural pronounciation). But we figured out what each other was saying anyway. It was great and such fun.
Hi Linda! That’s too funny! And wow so many languages at home too! That must have been fun. Your poor mum…. She was probably so confused with you two chatting away in front of her!!! Thank you so much for the comment!

@@TheFrenchSeams_vlog yes I do have a few tips for the crochet 😁 practice alot ,I use a size 3 hook and 100% cotton, I crochet amigurumi dolls ,yes that is a real thing 😅 and if you do go that rabbit hole you will be addicted 🙈🙈 the heather dress is so easy to make ,I have to size down on the hip but it's lovely and cozy in french terry 🥰
The tops for the boys are adorable. I’m just thinking what a hit they were in their day care center. Your Love Notions pullover is perfect for St. Patricks Day and cozy too. Eager to see your Frocktails dress/purse combo…
Love that green top! And the shamrock! Just happen to have green crochet cotton in my stash...guess it's over to Bella coco...crocheted some shamrocks last year but wool too thick and they didn't show to advantage. Your frocktails clutch is gorgeous. Sounds interesting. In Binbrook Ontario, so too far for me.
Thanks so much!!! The shamrocks are so cute… and totally addictive! I hope you have nothing else planned for today 😉 The bag is just gorgeous! I’m so pleased with how it came out! Perhaps the commute from Ontario is a bit far…. You can live vicariously through us this year! Thanks for watching
What great fun T-shirts for your boys. How do you keep those T-shirts so white? I had three boys and I was constantly using things to get stains out of everything. But I never would’ve risked white T-shirts with any of them. They were all such slow hubs. Lol. Happy Saint Paddy’s day. Have a fun weekend
Happy St Patricks day May your troubles be less, your blessings be more, and nothing but happiness come through your door. X
Thank you so much Colette! And to you! Happy Patrick’s weekend.
