Love your ability to fabricate things and make them work. As one of my youtubers would say "we do things right because we do things twice". The important thing is you got the engine and running fine. Looking forward for more videos.

Awesome video and the audio part wonderful.
I was never a fan of Sears/Craftsman's tractors. I am about twice your age and remember when Sears tried going head to head with John Deere. This was 40 plus year's ago, when we were first seeing 20/19.9 horse power tractors. A classmate of my mother's, worked for Sears for decades. Working in the Lawn and Garden Center, as it was named in the day. He was always secretly wiping up the leaking hydro fluid from the floor. I want everyone to know he was a good/great guy. He went out of his way to have happy customers. I know for a fact, just how hard he worked to have and keep his customers extremely happy.
With that said, after being a subscriber for a little while now. I must admit, I am liking the Craftsman's GT6000 Series Tractors. And you certainly have proven to me. They are worth their money and can do a good amount of work around the yard/driveway.
I still prefer my John Deere Compact Diesel tractor, with it's loader. I must admit, I would have place to use a GT6000. In smaller areas, that my JD diesel is to big to work in.
Please keep your videos coming. I have learned quite a bit from you.
Unluckily, we have something in common. I was also married to (what turned out to be) a crazy thing. From everything I see with Jessie (I apologize if I spelled her name wrong), you have found a "real keeper".
May God bless you and your family. (This is you, Jessie and your son)

Put a fan on the front of the engine using the front output shaft. The only downside to this is it will blow all the engine heat back at you, but in the winter that might be a good thing.

The absolute easiest fix to this entire engine swap would be, turn in the engine and running the drive off the crankshaft not the flywheel.
Yes you will need to redo the belt and get rid of that double pulley that changes the belts direction.
Personally that's what I did with my Diesel Conversion.
Or something MowersNBlowers did, he put the engine in with the flywheel facing forward, crankshaft facing back, but he did something special with the belt to make it work properly, so the machine would operate correctly.

As newer lighter engines run hotter and leaner for cleaner burn, they often run an anti-dieseling solenoid to shut off fuel on shut down to prevent detonation run on. This was also frequently used in the later days of carbureted automobiles

I was amazed for all the technicality in your mind and hoping that I had a little bit of your technical know how. I love all you videos which I am trying if I can manipulate or make it happen something that you are doing but as I've said I wish I had a little bit of your tech mind. As of right now I tried to add an electrical switch to my 18 HP Duromax 440cc engine. Also I added a two AC stator parts #31630-ZE2-861 and a voltage regulator. The electrical switch has five wires coming out of it: one is small brown which I connected to one of the yellow wire coming from the voltage regulator and connected it to one of the black wire to the ac stator and the other white wire coming from the AC stator I wired it to other yellow wire coming from the voltage regulator. The small black wire coming from the electrical switch which have a male bullet connector I connected it to the wire going to the coil. One black wire with a female bullet connector I live it blank because I took off the oil sensor relay and the governor inside the crankcase. The black with white stripe it goes to the male connector to the starter motor relay and the white wire from the electrical switch I connected it to the bolt where I connected the red wire going to the battery (+) and also the red wire from the voltage regulator. The (-) battery terminal I connected to the block of the engine. When I tried to start it most of the time it won't turn all the way the flywheel but once in a while it turn all the way sometimes it want to start but failed, then it goes the same thing. Could you please help me why it won't start or most of the time it won't turn the flywheel all the way? I really appreciated it, if you could help me with my problem and thank you. Need to watch more of your vidoes.

All of those SEARS/CRAFTSMAN GT6000's need to be saved.
After 4 Spinal Surgeries, I had to let go of my 1982 with a KOHLER MAGNUN (Opposed atwin 18HP) with the Roper633a Transaxel...
The 44" (Tri-Blade) Deck and other Attatchments were very hard (almost impossible) for me to attatch, although I also had the Factory Electronic Rear Sleeve Hitch on the Rear with a few Fablicated "Driveway Maintenance Bits" that where AWESOME to have.
I really miss the ability to work on this class of GT!
