- He Told Ozzy Osbourne "You Can't Afford This Signed Record" - But The Signature Was Ozzy's Own
An antique dealer told a tired-looking man who walked into his shop, "You can't afford this signed record." Little did he know, he was talking to Ozzy Osbourne - and the signature was Ozzy's own. This heartwarming narrative tells the unforgettable encounter of rock legend Ozzy Osbourne at a small antique shop in Los Angeles. We've crafted a video that reflects on the deception of appearances, the cost of arrogance, and life lessons that come from unexpected places. Enjoy.

We not only KNOW him, we LOVE him, and admire and respect him....and ENJOYED him... a great musician, entertainer, and wonderful family man. RIP OZZY
😂❤awesome, I was thinking the same thing! Good story I doubt if it’s true!😂
🤘😝🤘
If the story is true the collector could have thought it was a look alike
Not real
@DarleneWalsh-ds1qf💩💩💩💩
He had a record store for 40 years and didn't recognize Ozzy?
Riiight
Or judged a dude's worth on his "casual clothes".
You would have to recognize him when he's talking too nobody's like ozzy
Yea, sounds fake.
Yeah. That's why this video is full of crap. This kind of AI slop needs banning so bad.
Of course it's likely- look how many younger people react to classic songs they claim to have never heard before. Bohemian Rhapsody, Whiter Shade of Pale, Born in the USA ... Yeah, riight!
Dude doesnt recognize Ozzy? I'm callin BS on this.
MF, Henry Cavill, stood in Time Square, wearing a superman shirt, under the superman sign, and people didn't recognize him, LUL.
Yeah quite possible another click bate scheme..👺
Absolute BS .
The elders in that era were not listening to Ozzy!
AI-BS
The most unbelievable part is that Ozzy would remember where he was when he signed the poster.
He was more sober in those early days, that's probably why. He didn't remember the woman and that happened much later during the drug frenzy 😅
😂
Not necessary. MOST people in their older years tend to remember more about the past, than more current times.
The videos are completely fictional and have no connection to real people and events.
In my 52 years all I can say is, sometimes I remember things and sometimes I don't. I think it was the same for Ozzy.
What a wonderful story, don’t believe a word of it, but I love hearing anything about OZZY rip
Ditto. I just finished saying the exact same thing to my wife.lol
That is the best reply I have seen on this video. By the time this would have happened it would have been impossible not to at the very least have some suspicions. When he talked it would have given it all away. Great story, didn't happen. AI screwed up again
Ozzy was no doubt interested in some of his own music and in no way would he be deterred from his search.
Good thing Edward Van Halen didnt walk in there.
I agree lol
No way would this guy not recognize Ozzy Osbourne
Like the day I didn't recognize John Lennon until I realized the person in the shades standing next to him was Mrs. Whitmore.
I’ve traveled all over and the only people I’ve recognized are basketball players, because they’re more obvious than water in the river, other than that, it has been my wife that has told me look who’s there, me all lost be like wHo? Jlo 😵💫 lmao
The tattoo for one thing
@heygoldilocks Maybe at first he thought it said AZZY?
Yup, I call BS. If there is one rock legend everyone would know it would most likely be Ozzy, especially if you add the look, the speech and the tattoo. There is no way this man was in this rock memorabilia business on the high end and didn't know. I suspect the whole story is BS.
"I'll take things that never happened for $200, Alex"
Still fun to imagine
pfft..500.. in fact push the whole pile - all in.
Lol, good one !
Only AI can take a load of bullshit, sell it with 100% confidence, and then take 18 dreary minutes of hyperbole to tell what could have been a two-minute anecdote. Well a human could do it too, but you'd tell him to piss off.
$1000 Alex
Really, a record dealer doesn't recognize Ozzy? Lol
It’s possible he didn’t recognize him but you would have thought he should have figured it out after about the 20th time the owner had to say “ uh what was that you said?” lol ✌️🙏🇺🇸
Harold only see $ ,
These stories are all fake.
Absolutely
In AI, anything is possible 🤮🤮
HE has a $15'000 version version of Black Sabbath's Paranoid and doesn't recognise Ozzy? Really?? Nice piece of fiction
😂
Me too. I call BS.
Good story though 😁
I could have an obscure Rembrandt, worth little. I would not recognize him. Are you an idiot. Never mind, dumb question..,..Idiot
You have to realize this is all made up A.I. bullshit. There probably isn't a shred of truth to any of it. Lazy people who are too stupid to come up with their own video content use A.I. to make content for them. And usually its fictional crap made up just to get people to click on to watch and generate "clicks" for advertisement purposes. A.I. will make you dumber if you listen to it.
Anyone who doesn’t know who Ozzy Osbourne is, just hasn’t been born yet.
Nice story - but I doubt there are any rock-n-roll collectors that dont recognize OZZY.
This is not a true post. This channel is using celebrity names in figures to grow their channel. Moses stuff. This channel has posted is inaccurate or untrue.
I'll never forget the one time that I met Ozzy in person. My friend was the limo driver that took him from a gig at the Long beach arena. Ozzy was sitting in the back ready to leave but he took the time to say hello to me at the request of my friend. He spoke to me as if he'd seen an old friend. "Hey man, how's it goin' ". I went on to tell him that I saw him in 1974 at the California Jam and that this was so insane to be sitting in the back of a limo with him. His response was "yeah, I think I remember that gig". priceless!
Now this is a great story!! I’m just surprised some didn’t come here and tell you you’re full of it, and that you made all this up!! I’ve met quite a few personalities, but hardly ever talk about their encounters, even though I have pics to back them all up…. Again….Great story!!
This channel will prolly turn this comment into a way too long AI story
I was at that concert I believe. The ramones opened up for black sabath. Ramones got booed and people were chanting " black sabath"
I was at California jam too
Nice story... but nothing more. Just a story. Not happened
It's as real as the AI narrator.
Your correct they wrote a similar story about bob dylan.
For a $25,000 poster, you'd think he'd include the frame.
I bought that frame. Paid $275,000 for it. Never thought there would have been a RUclips video about it. Now it is worth Millions!!! 💰💸🤑
And the nails to hang it.
@theSpryGeezer 😁😁😁😁😁😁
@babalui66 What is not mentioned here is that the picture wire on the frame was actually barbed wire.
And such a person would never give up a sale.That Ozzy's a real wrong'un.
Great story! ❤
Ozzy is highly distinguishable from any one else 😂 He’s a legend ❤
You left out the part where Mick Jagger walked in. 😢
Or John Lennon for that matter.
That was a LONG WINDED STORY 🥱🥱🥱
he could not look at his eyes he had sunglasses on
The narrator said he took them off…
😂😂😂
how could that idiot not know this is ozzy?
I started listening to sabboth in the 80s,those were the days, dang.hes gone but still in memorys.
Spellcheck bro.😂
I use to live around the corner from him ,i was a few years younger and met him at the Aston Cafe where he would have tea and i use to play pool ,be surprised when i say this during before his success and after Ozzy never changed he was one of the nicest guys around , I loved working with metals and engineering ,while he hated it , he was music orientated to be a singer and the rest of the band i met them , they were metal heads but never a bad word against them they loved playing music at the pubs where i could not get in , i had problems getting in on the pub as i did not look my age ,it took 25 years of age before i convinced them my age but i looked so young and still do now .
but i would listen to the band outside .
I met Ozzie at a book signing in North Palm Beach, had a chat about England where I lived my youth. He signed my book, I would gladly forgo that book for another chat. So sad part of my youth growing up in London.
Who's Ozzie..... 😅😅😅😅 forever OZZY
@damageddime8856my mistake why are you interested in the book
You can't look at his eyes lol
I’m blessed to have attended 3 Ozzy concerts back in the 90’s. 1st one was the “No More Tours” tour 🙄. His “retirement” didn’t even last a year cause I saw him the following year lol. And the year after that. Man is an icon
I met Ozzy during the mid-80's, he used to come to Biloxi, MS and stay in the Sheraton on the beach here. They would rig a dumpster beneath the hotel room balcony and unbolt the TV set so he could throw it off. I'm not sure if he ever actually did, but they loved it when they stayed there. He came into the Shell station right down the beach where I worked as a cashier, and bought ALL of the Budweiser in the coolers, about 8 cases, and we loaded it into the trunk of a red convertible he had rented.
Tipped me and the other guy there a 100 dollar bill each, and told us he was driving up and down the beach giving six packs of beer away to just random people.
HUGE smile on his face the whole time, laughing like a little kid.
Also carded Lee Jakey (his real name) on that same tour, the day of the show (they stayed for a week)-thought he was one of the local teenagers, he bought ONE beer, and a pack of cigarettes.
Ozzy didn't smash televisions that was keith moon.
I found this story very heartwarming and relatable about good memories as I spent quite a bit of time in Biloxi MS as a teenager chasing things that teenagers chase, sometimes seeming just beyond your grasp...but sometimes fell in your grasp. It was lovely place in 1980.
I saw Izzy at an AA Meeting on studio city he called himself John!!!🎉

I remember playing a '61 Les Paul at a pawn shop in Biloxi MS, in 1980. A lot of great memories in Biloxi.
Ozzy always kept it real. So glad I saw him in his prime; that's how I'll remember him.
I got see Black Sabbath in the 70s at a place called the Inner Circle, near the Newport . I was young and I recall being chased out of the place, being that I was a minor. At least I got to see Sabbath up close for a few seconds, I remember they all had long hair and were on a small stage. Glad I got to see them when they were young.
And God bless, every one!!!
in the 70s my mum hated Ozzy Osbourne though she didn't know his name she just wanted the noise turning down, 30 years later she was telling me how wonderful he was (she had been watching the Osbournes) 25 years later she is 86 and would know him in an instant if she saw him in the street
I'm a 60s baby my folks loved music they didn't like heavy rock
The most unbelievable part is that Ozzy would remember where he was when he signed the poster.
My mom as well. Loved Ozzy and the family ❤ She's 90 yrs and cried when he passed. RIP OZZY 🎉🙏
Nice story but a touch unbelievable.
This has to be the best Ozzy Osbourne story I've heard in the last 15 minutes.
😆😅😂🤣
😂
😂😂😂
HUGE waste of 18 minutes.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
great day today and I will never forget OZZY👈👍
I shared an elevator with Bob Wilkens and Gene Roddenberry...not relevant to this story, but whatever
Yet far more believable
Pretty funny, right out of college in the mid eighties I managed a very large portable and modular building business. An older guy driving an old pickup truck came on to the lot and started looking around. By the way, he was carrying a small scrap of lumber he grabbed from the back of his pickup when he first got out, and was writing notes on it. Didn't spend a tremendous amount of time looking around, nor did he ask many questions. Within probably 20 or so minutes he had picked out 4 buildings in the 40K range, (total) and was ready to pay. In 1985 dollars, 40K would be worth 125K in today's dollars. I was also delighted I would get a 10% commission on such little work. Four thousand dollars wasn't a bad day's work! Once again, adjusted for inflation, $12K. I was pretty stunned. Went inside, he never even tried to negotiate a better price, (highly unusual) just wrote the check and asked if I could start delivering the buildings today. I said yes, I could probably have the first one there in a little over an hour. He shook my hand and left. Back in those days you could call a bank and make sure the funds for a large check was available. Called, and the gal at the back quickly said, "Oh yeah, he could have added three more zeros and it still would have been good. I had no idea who the guy was, but turned out he owned the 3rd largest ranch in our state at that time. I treated him well throughout the process, although I put almost no effort into making the sell. I just figured he came by to get ideas on how to build his own. Valuable lesson that stayed with me throughout a sales career.
How do you have a rock n roll memorabilia store and not recognize OZZY!!? Unacceptable!!
Tell the story about when Ozzy ran the Kentucky Derby on Mr. Ed and won.
He said he did actually end up talking to a horse in a field that turned round and told him to f**k off when he was tripping balls back in the early seventies. What a top guy he was, sadly missed.
THE GREAT AND POWERFUL,,,,,,,,,,,OZ!!!!!!!!
There was never a store in Fairfax LA called Morrison’s, this is probably AI bullshit story
Plus, this shop looks a little too much like Morrison‘s Café, lol.
Alex, I’d like to take ”Things that never happened,” for the $1,000 Daily Double!
Exactly 💯... Artificial intelligence SUCKS.🗑️
Omg, what a wonderful lesson to be learnt
when man thought his abilityto judge is Op but actually sux , stay humble..
What a great story and a beautiful lesson to the shop owner
The owner had been collecting for 40 year ... and categorized one of his collectibles creator as just killing time ... smh ... this can't be real
RIP Ozzy! The world may never see greatness like you again. Prayers for upcoming star Young-Blood!
Glad Ozzy got to use his driver in L.A. when Sharon was in New York..."without her knowing".
Right. They made it sound like Sharron puts him on house arrest while she's away 😂
Great fan fic.
Story would be more believable if Elvis came in and did lines with Ozzy off the framed poster and then John Wayne came in and they all sang jailhouse rock together. While the widow stripped on the counter.
"Well, let me tell ya Pilgrim, ya cain't judge a man by the horse he rode in on!". Bad John Wayne impression? 🤣🤣🤣
High-Larry-Us!!!
😂😂😂😂😂😂
I like this version of the story.my mind already played a video of these things happening. Awsome
....and Morrison was shopping about as Janis came in and whacked him in the head with a Southern Comfort bottle. Jimi laughed.
Awwww. We have lost so many greats but their voices are timeless.
I rarely listen to anything beyond 1980.
Just about every morning on the way to highschool I had Iron Man basting as we hot boxed that last bit of joint before going to class smelling like a fat roach 😂 1974-1976.
Concert chaser in a Dodge Street van loaded with all my hippie friends.
I think we had good times.
I can't recall much. ✌️
2:40 funny how he uses the name of one of Ozzy's new songs "Ordinary Man" in his sentence 😂 they'll never be another Ozzy Ozbourne R.I.P.
🤘❤🤘
Ozzy, part of my life ty😊
Great message Ozzy was the most humbled rock star.
I went to a Ozzy concert with my uncle James Yeamons promoted Long Beach arena back in 1979 and dint meet Ozzy Osborne but I didn’t meet his guitar player Randy backstage he had on dolphin shorts and I believe those shorts were most worn by women or girls back in the day. He had on a brown T-shirt cut at the neck and with the sleeves cut off with a pair of thongs with a backstage pass around his neck, very humble and soft spoken man shook his hand. What a pleasure very kind person and my uncle sat me with a sitter in the side of the stage to watch the concert had a blast and grew up to be a Ozzy Osbourne fan. This story is true. But this story of a record shop is got to be some RUclips guy trying to get plays…Oh the guitar player I meet was Randy roads. Never forget that day. No need to lie I was a kid with a uncle that promoted concerts so growing up was pretty cool because I had tickets to almost any concert and so did a lot of my friends from school when I got older. Thank you for letting me share this post.
This was the most precious story. Thank you ❤
This guy has a ton of classic rock memorabilia and he didn't recognise Ozzy?
It is possible that someone may not recognize Ozzy in the casual attire he was wearing and wearing dark glasses.
@dathyr1I agree. The store owner wasn't just selling rock memorabilia, but knows what rare is. My dad wouldve guessed it was him maybe seeing the letters tattooed on the fingers if he could make them out, but since the story says he went in there alone, not having the reference of anything else going unrecognized by an old dusty shop owner is possible. Still a great story.
From my home town of brum.. rip ozzy..
Mr Osborne since you're paying me all that money I'll throw in the frame for free
The story was so beautiful and moving. Made my day. Rest in peace Ozzy
So how do we know this is a real story?
It's not.
Bought the poster but could not throw in the frame. 🤔 what the.
Well taught
Rest in heaven ozzy jam out with the angels.."momma im already home"
I'm sorry, did I say that poster was $25 thousand...uh I meant 30!
Very true. That's what will make an awesome salesman!!!
It wasn't actually Ozzy. It was just someone pretending to look like him. He saved up for years to pull off that job.
He must have stolen a credit card from a guy named John Osborne...
Mrs Whatsaname was a plant.
I love/loved and miss Ozzy😢
What do we have to do to get rid of these completely fake AI generated stories ?
Everyone knows Ozzy fng Osbourne. You are missed. ❤ nice little story.
What a Great story!! Very cool.
Nice story that, nice morals. I can imagine a man of Ozzy's stature being a good teacher
talked all that time and didn't drop the F bomb once......
@Larry-64Ha ha - that's true! Not at all sure how true this story is lol but it's nice to listen to
Respect and humility are key ✌️
OZZY NEVER LISTENED TO HEAVY METAL ACTUALLY
His go to . He personally enjoyed more old classic rock and ofcourse rhythm and blues .
Awesome story! Thank you.
Clown. How did he NOT know who this was ... RIP ozzy
This history is poetry!! Ozzy Rules!!
Your now a star of the universe..love you bro..miss u.but always will play u
My first concert was Ozzy and Anthrax opening ... Never forget it !! RIP Ozzy
It is amazing you people say something about a person when he is dead, knowing he can't tell you that you are talking a load of shit. RIP Ozzy.
Thanks to this valuable lesson now I feel encourage to smoke from the pot!
Fiction or not... love the story... Miss You Ozzy❤
There's a camera in the store and nothing?
Amazing story, thanks
Great story and a great lesson. RIP
Unbelievable
Love this story , rip Ozzie 🙏 😢😢😢❤❤❤❤
The story is obviously fiction. I’ve got more than four decades in the industry and I’ve met Ozzy.
That’s not how he spoke.
I don’t know what copy of the album they’re talking about but I’ve never seen one for $15,000.
He didn't see "OZZY" tattoo on is knuckles ?
Great story... you hear about these kinda things every once in awhile.
RIP Ozzy❤ You are missed.
Saw the prince of darkness in potown civic center. Loudest bloody concert I've ever been to. Awesome how he let dudes up on stage to sing with him.. RIP Ozzy. What a life.. memories listening to his music 🎶

This is why you never judge a book by its cover.
Nice story tell it to the reader's digest
"...see , there's good...even in the Prince of Darkness !! 😊
Ozzy was amazing. RIP.
the double front door sharing a hinge was great
Another great untold stories..🤘
I met Ozzy & Sharon back stage on the Blizzard of Oz tour in Charlevoix Michigan, man I wish we had cell phones to take pictures back then, now only the memory
Now, this is an awesome story!
