nice to see you in a cs podcast mate :) also love seeing you pointing out ESIC being toothless and hunden lawyering up overruled robban checking out some bug.... astralis are cunts, they wont ever stop being cunts but ESIC are honestly useless at this point
Robban didn't get to lift the major trophy at Antwerp because he accidentally activated the coach bug during an online match against Astralis. Faze lost that match convincingly - 16-1. Robann didn't report it to anyone, he just walked away from his PC, hence he got a 6-month 'slap on the wrist' from ESIC. Note that Robban got a reduced sentence, because he confessed about the bug to ESIC, and assisted in the investigation. The lack of impact on the result (a 16-fucking-1 scoreline) didn't have an effect on his ESIC ban, that eventually prevented him from attending 2 majors: Stockholm and Antwerp. So ESIC, by going soft on Astralis based on results, are contradicting their previous rulings
The debate if bro was unfit to play is a red herring. The actual problem was blast allowing them to register cadian as a sub instead of using their coach.
It's crazy how everyone seems to have forgotten that Ruggah was supposed to play instead of Br0 as the official stand-in, but he was also unavailable according to Astralis. Yet conveniently, Ruggah was there behind the team on both Media-day and the matches.
Been loving you on the desk at the major!~ Maui: "He [drop] just needs glasses, & then he'll look really smart, too. Just look at Dust: Glasses & facial hair? It's like the full package: you're manly & you're smart." Tech Girl: "All I'm gonna say is: Maybe don't take style advice from Maui & Dust... Idk..." Maui: "Hey, what?!" 😹
South Africa had a racial apartheid through the second half of the 1900s, where black South Africans were treated as second class citizens. It was prolific across a lot of Africa, including a country at the time called Rhodesia (modern day Zimbabwe), led by a guy called Ian Smith, which happens to also be the name of the ESIC commissioner. Thorin joked that being involved in ESIC is not a-part-he'd like to be involved in. Tech Girl is South African and I imagine Neokai is also of African descent, hence the joke about them knowing about Ian Smith.
Sam out here casually creating an impossible standard for other cs contentcreators to keep up with on the esic body. How about valve apply a tax or license on any org or TO so if they want to be in the space they have to pay some sum of money to valve. and Then use that money to fund an ESIC alternative?
@@TechGirlZA if you like the idea you can have it, dont have to credit me in your next episode XD I also completely agree with the take that the most egregious part of astralis' Shenanigans is their willingness to sacrifice the careers of young players for any minor advantage. utterly reprehensible
i am sorry, the initial point w/ astralis is kinda stupid b/c value can dynamic adjust the punishment depending on how further offender if any will continuing take advantage of the system, obvious if they stop doing it, 15k is fine, but if they keep doing it, double it everytime it happens or smthing
I hate cheaters and i hate the fact that this genre of gaming is dead. How do one stop external hardware cheats? There isn't a cheating problem in pro CS. Hell, it's barely a problem in-game if you aren't a top 1% player! If you're an average person, cheating doesn't affect you at all.
Oh im sorry? I though we were talking about the integrity commision and how it is hopeless for believe in it. That was just my two cents. And I am sure I am not the only one who feels this way. I didn't want to comment on astralis because they put up a good fight this RMR and eternal fire match was great fun. Its meaningless to look into player politics when they were evolving every match and passion UA match was just series of unfortunate events. Had it not been for the bs galil spray at the library they would have qualified. @@rodrigoaguiar5208

just came to the part on the show where they actually mention this.

Hope you find it useful then!

Only thing I will say, I am really glad Astralis missed the major.
Great last point.
Glad you think so!
I am Not a native English speaker. What is the meaning of the joke on 54:49 ?

What does that have to do with what they are talking about here? Wtf you just made a random rant about another topic.
