Was it the first test flight? A step-by-step video showing the creation of this paraglider would be fascinating to see, if possible!. I enjoyed watching this take off, very impressive
Awesome. Such a slick machine, unlike the airstrip! I used to fly a Mosquito type powered hang glider. Pretty crude but it opened up so much countryside in Australia that was unreachable for hang gliding. I'd also reached a time in my hang gliding that I was tired of waiting for the winds/conditions to be right for the launch site. I've seen & flown with some foot launchable, non powered swifts & they fly so nicely, exceptional glide ratio. Thanks for posting.
I flew the SWIFT glider at the training hill in nicasio California. Eric Beckman was my hang gliding instructor. It was made by the Bright Star hang gliding company in the San Francisco Bay area.
Unfortunately, Hit the piece of dirt on landing with tip :( . Prop is now replaced . Swift can fly in rough terrain , but for sure it’s better on grass runway. We fly - we learn !

Nice ❤ always happy landings from Aeroclub BEXBACH EDRX
Dang............that took forever !
👍👍👍 suuuuuuuper 👍👍👍
Swift was awesome- fun day 😊
It´s very coll....But looks a little under powered. Did the prop hit the ground?
Taking off on that field surface looked rough. Was a very long runout and hard on the airframe.
It was rough. From now on - only grass runway operation
woowowowowoow
What is this aircraft? Who built this?
Nice!!
Might be stupid question, but does he ever tow up with the corn alps pilots?
Zipper used to be hanggliding pilot , now is my paragliding tandem pilot and he also owns 5 sailplanes . ( sparrowhawk , discus 2b and such )
What happened to the prop? It was fine in the beginning, but by 0:47 it was toast.
Nice catch. Didn't even notice.

Add 5 more rubber bands and add 300 more turns when winding.. Yikes
