I'm in California living off $2250. I have zero debt and live a minimalist lifestyle. If it weren't for bugeting and minimalism I wouldn't be able to live comfortable

sadly gas is outdated haha. i make around 2200 a month. I have no savings (I had 5k in the stock market that is now worth about 1.3k after the crash) and currently I live rent free but I will be forced to move out soon. no debts however and I have a few saleable assets. I am unable to have a roomate due to my personal situation but I am going to try my best. It does motivate me seeing that you guys are able to do it with 5, sadly for me, rent here is expensive so I will be looking at 900 dollars a month for a one bedroom apartment. a studio around me is about 800. I have no cookware at all so I have been abusing food apps to eat. Mcdonalds app gives me a free crispy chicken sandwich if I pay 3 or more dollars. so I typically go and get a two mcchickens for three dollars for lunch and save the crispy chicken sandwich for dinner. It's not much but it's full of calories, it's not healthy but I was able to save money for some vitamins and I have two each day. if its my day off I get a soft drink and stay all day at Mcdonalds because they also have free wifi and they don't kick you out if you don't cause any problems. I tend to visit the library a lot and I have considered purchasing a gym membership to save money on showers and allowing myself to work out and stay healthy with an unhealthy diet. praying for better times, and hopefully I can save some money .

@@kayleighdowdall7936 Thank you! I was able to secure rent free housing for the rest of the summer :). i should be able to save around 4-5 grand, being VERY careful with my money. hopefully it would be enough to get a down payment and a couple months rent at some place. I'm glad you're doing well! Keep it up
