My little brother who was seven maybe eight at the time this season came out. I will never forget how broken he was over the pigs. To this day when I rewatch TWD, if its on that episode he will leave immediately. Its something about the pigletts cries just really effects him. So don't feel bad about crying over them. Its honestly so sad, and I cried on a episode of Fear The Walking Dead when a dog died from a bite. Dogs own my heart, but even I get choked up over the pigletts.
The sad thing is, your only other option would be to make a human run around the outside to draw the walkers away from the fence.
Also my family would watch TWD every Sunday all together. It was a family tradition from 2010-2017 when we lost cable and couldn't continue. Thankfully I've seen all of it now plus the spin offs. Also buckle in, S4 is gonna give you a bad case of emotions as it goes on.
Season 4 -5 are the best seasons . I can’t wait for all the reactions keep up the great work

It always gets me when Daryl says gotta be You can tell he’s not really okay and after he told Beth he’s tired of losing people this must have hit him really hard.
I always nearly hold back my emotions from that pig scene I can’t handle that Rick you can’t just kill your son’s pigs like that he loves them.
It’s good that Carol is teaching kids to use weapons but she definitely needed to tell the parents first She isn’t their parent and it’s not really her right to do that without letting the parents know It’s one thing if the child in question doesn’t have a parent but some of them did Worse is that she got caught doing it and tried to manipulate Carl into not telling his Dad about it and trying to do that to a teenage isn’t okay either I’m glad he was honest to Rick about it and let him know because even if Rick doesn’t stop her it’s better that another adult is aware this is going on (since again she wouldn’t even tell her parents)
Tbh I like seeing how Carl’s developed in the last few months He wanted his gun back because he wanted to be ready for anything and look what happened He was right to want it back He just wants to be able to protect himself and whoever else needs it He’s been honest with Rick like with telling him about Carol and how he admitted to Rick he used a gun because he didn’t know Rick was out there He could have just left out the fact that he used a gun but it was the first thing he said to him and you can tell by the look on his face when he shot the gun that he was a bit shocked that he’d even shot a gun when he knew he wasn’t supposed to be There’s a lot of development there seeing him like this now and from Season 2 when he was lying and stealing guns.
I like the way we have two conflicts at the same time The illness is a problem by itself and I know you guys have seen a couple of episodes ahead since you mentioned it on the RUclips community post and the website but now they also have internal conflict with people being killed by someone on the inside Obviously the illness would make everyone paranoid but imagine knowing there’s someone on the inside Who is killing your people and you don’t even know who it is You just get left thinking that anyone near you could be a killer You don’t know the details but you know what happened and there are so many questions They’ve made such a good life for themselves there and then suddenly all this happens.

Rick’s been trying to keep the violence away from Carl He’s spent the last six months building a more civilized life for him and Judith and now it’s starting to fall apart The look on his face as he’s sacrificing the pigs says it all And he’s had to give Carl his gun again as well.

In my personal opinion it should have been mandatory, strictly so, for all cell doors and section doors be latched at all times, it would have saved lives, they do not need to be locked since Walkers can not unlatch them only people can, 😏
Swine/bird flu’s are nasty without antibiotics, let alone throw in an apocalyptic situation, 😏
Just my personal opinion, they should have put the same barrier they have by the gate along the fence anywhere there can be a pile up, plus put tarps on the fence to block out the visuals since they have the guard towers, then they would not have to worry so much about it being compromised by the Walkers, 👍👍
