@ALINA BOTA- granular (granules) fertilizers are meant to be applied to the soil to gradually dissolve, in time, as the plants are being watered. They are intended to provide nutrition for the plant in the course of 3-4 months. Gently scratch the soil and apply the granules around the plant and away from the trunk, cover with the soil and water the plant. There are also fertilizers that are in crystal form (like coarse salt or like the vetsin) which are to be dissolved in water and applied to the plants every week or two (or per manufacturer's recommendations). These fertilizers are intended for the immediate use of the plant. You'll see immediate results the morning after the fertilizer is applied (per my experience). The foliar spray he made by dissolving 1/4 scoop fert. in 1L water (which is 25% the strength, to protect the plant's leaves from burning) is meant to be sprayed on the leaves (foliage🌱 🍃). As Probinsyanong Daddy emphasized: Please remember to fertilize the plants in the late afternoon when the sun has set so as not to risk the plants leaves from burning 🔥 from the sun's heat.
