I'm a bit amused that a Küng Superio in Grenadill(!) is being compared to an Aulos plastic recorder for 19 Euro! It's like a comparison between a Dacia and a Rolls Royce.

Did you also try the Olive wood model? I'm so tempted, it looks so pretty!

For better comparing you should play on of Vivaldi's concerts

8th Viewer, 1st; uppy-thumb-thing & comment! My Aulos Tenor "w/o keys" IS difficult for my fingers to reach and maintain proper contact. Why don't I ever lister to advice! Stubborn, now to enjoy your efforts.

I have very small hands and the Aulos keyless tenor is no problem. However, you need to develop enough strength and be sure to hold the flute correctly with a good body position. It takes some time, be very mindful to not overdo it and hurt yourself(easily done!), but keep at it every day. You could get a small rubber ring (like a dog toy or one of the little pillows that a small singing bowl sits on) and initially 'park' the flute edge on that whilst you play sitting down, so you get used to the feel without having to do the lifting work and then work up to playing freehand once your fingers have oriented themselves.

@@hexefroschbein8486 Fri.02/10/2023_@0653EDT. Thank you & I'm using isometric' finger exercises to regain control lost from few years of laziness! @63.7 years, I'm just using this instrument as (part) of my regime for improving mental health quality. It; (musical-instrument) has been "the" elusive hobby! Aulos 211A Tenor is without faults. A fine tool, produced with attn. in every regard. I'm sure, with time & effort I will continue my quest.
