I never have done anything even close to Ballet, but I think it is a stunning form of art. The way the dancers move so fluently, the costumes, the stage and the music make it all so dream-like.
What a great vlog! I enjoyed it so much! The Quiner sisters sure have been busy. The Nutcracker is a wonderful and special ballet. You ladies are such beautiful, talented, and inspiring dancers. I love watching you perform and am always so impressed with your dedication and hard work. Bravo...awesome job! Thanks for sharing! 💗👋🩰👏
How did the opportunity to perform with New Jersey ballet come about? Curious how replacement dancers get selected when something happens. Love watching you all dance. Eliana has matured so much! I LOVE watching her move, such a beautiful quality
2 of their Claras got injured and needed someone to learn the role quickly. We know Martin Harvey from taking his classes at Radix. His wife, Maria Kowroski is the artistic director of New Jersey Ballet.
Watching this brought back so many memories of my childhood. My parents took me to see the Nutcracker when I was 2..I loved it so much & was dancing in the audience… my parents put me in dance soon as I turned 3! I performed in ACBT’s production of the Nutcracker (South Jersey) for quite a few years… my first role was a mouse! As I got older, I was in the party scene, an angel, punchinelle (totally butchered that) and waltz of the flowers. I loved all the chaos involved with dress rehearsals and actual performances. Thanks for sharing this ladies! My question is… what is your favorite part you have danced in the Nutcracker?! Happy holidays! ❤
Wow so beautiful! I took 4 years of ballet and absolutely loved it! But had two things happen, I stepped on a needle and was unable to dance for awhile, and also hit puberty and no longer had the body type 😟
@@Chels-fz5uq Many dancers do this. If you have blond hair, or a patchy/uneven hairline. It’s because, from the audience, under the stage lights, you can look bald. It’s the same reason you wear stage makeup (your face looks washed out, and you lose the features.)
Just found your channel as I've always followed another vlogger. It's refreshing too see two separate pov. Your athleticism is commendable! You're incredibly skilled & y'all put on a flawless show. During the out takes I died here 36:55 🤣 I just wasn't expecting it.😂 Like the ballet apocalypse! Seriously though, GREAT JOB! Bavo! Bravo!🤌👏 🌹🌹🌹💂🏾♂️💂🏻🧚🏽♀️👸👑❄️🩷💙🩰
I just passed my pointe exam and I am getting my first pair of pointe shoes over Christmas! You guys inspired me to work really hard so that I could reach this goal! 🩰🩰🩰
Can I ask for my education why would NJ ballet company pull in people from outside for main roles? I understand Rachel is really good and later got a job offer from there but I thought they would still prioritize those who already signed up with NJ ballet?
2 of their company members got injured (the role is usually for a professional in their company). Since we lived close by and we had worked with Martin Harvey (from Radix), they approached us. 🩰
Do you guys audition for your placement in each dance? Like it seems like Ellie is usually doll and marzipan lead, and Caroline is Spanish lead, so do get those automatically or is there an audition process?
What's your favorite part of Nutcracker?🌲
Snow!
spanish or children’s march
Snow queen
Waltz of The Flowers
party boy because it was my first
Can you imagine the good fortune of their father and mother to have produced and nurtured SIX SPECTACULAR ARTISTS!
Yeah and it must have cost a fortune!

Michelle, I recommend filling in your hairline with bronzer or brown eyeshadow for the stage.
Bravo to all of you! What a crazy weekend! ❤🎄❄💂
I don’t think she needs to do that. She looks stunning.

Great job to all Quiner sisters. Were your parents dancers?
Thank you! Actually neither of our parents were dancers, but our mom took a couple ballet classes. She was a gymnast.

Caroline could get recruited by the school basketball coach, my cousin is her height and never played but still got asked when she was 15.
i want Ellie as Clara like why isn't she , it makes me mad love u guys
Ellie is making her Clara debut December 26 with New Jersey Ballet!
rachel is a short queen

Will you be making a clara vlog
Yes!
How cold is it in NJ right now?
What about the ABT shows? Or there are no ABT nutcracker shows?
ABT performs in California and uses the Gillespie school.
@@quinersisters okay thank you

Please forgive me but why the last performance of certain roles?
I am asking again but can you make a video on tips to get more flexible?
just stretch. there are lots of routines that already exist on youtube, just warm up beforehand in order to avoid injury and get the most out of it
And be consistent.
Do you guys audition for your placement in each dance? Like it seems like Ellie is usually doll and marzipan lead, and Caroline is Spanish lead, so do get those automatically or is there an audition process?
We come in for the last week of rehearsals because we go to the ABT JKO School so we don’t audition.
@@quinersisters hi do you wanna be friends?
