    The stripes are fun, fun, fun! And correcting them with extreme dry brush highlighting seems easy and also. Will definitely try!

    I have all my materials laid out but don’t have black wax… only brown and a white wax and I love the black so what do you think about trying black shoe polish? I just ADORE this and thank you so much for giving me a great idea :) I have been watching other videos of yours and you are amazing and so sweet to share your talents

    Do you use 2 part crackle medium instead of 1 part for a particular reason? Just curious. Thank you

    Beautiful box and an inspiration for me!!!but can i ask you something? don't we have to varnish before the crackling system and after that? Thank you

    • @IvetaZiedina
      @IvetaZiedina  3 года назад +1

      I never varnish before crackle, you’re supposed to varnish after but this time I used waxes over so that should be ok 👌

    It's beautiful. Curious, do you do anything to your molds or the clay? For some reason I can not get DAS clay out of my molds intact. Maybe I just got a bad batch?

    • @TubeYouLena
      @TubeYouLena 3 года назад +1

      i did have the same issue in the past but then whenever my clay is too soft i would just oil the mold a tiny bit with a q-tip dipped into some oil (vegetable, cosmetic, any).

      I just use Das as it is, sometimes it’s more sticky than others, but I rarely have to do anything extra to get it out. As Lena suggested, try oiling the mould, and also if it’s refusing to come out nicely pop it in the freezer for 10 minutes, it’ll help :)
