I hope Spencer Knight can come into his own this year. Bob knows how to keep himself fresh so I'd imagine he'll take at least 30 games off.
Jaws, Fluffy is a champ. He doesn't know how to give up.
Season will be a grind getting most teams A game vs the cup Champs. The plus is they definitely increased size wise with some of the pick ups,as well as younger.
I have a feeling January will be our worst month with all those back to backs. Not to mention the West Coast trip that was a disaster last season.

Yeah I find it odd how many back 2 backs there are but hey this will help out Knight. It also sucks that I really was hoping that they would play in Dallas but hey I guess I can wait for another year lol or somehow get REALLY lucky to go to a home game lol. Also what do you think about Nate Schmidt and MacKenzie Entwistle joining the team?
Zito definitly isn't done. We got around 6-7 million in cap space and he said he plans on spending every dollar this off season
we have to sign anton though ;) so more like 1.5
Anton + one more forward probably. Quite possibly Tarasenko, but there are quite a few interesting mid-tier forwards still out there.
Schmidt picked up as a defenseman. I’m not too familiar with him. What are your thoughts?

Do you think Florida would ever shift away from Zito to improve their drafting? I love what he's done with trades, but Dangle mentioned his drafting is a serious liability and the reason he's contiually passed over for GM of the year. Lundell seems like a great pick though.
Zito said he needs to build future as he has leveraged a lot with the trades. But one thing to keep in mind is that a GM doesn't make picks based on his own mind anymore. It's all about scouting and at least the pro scouting side of Panthers has been spot on for the past few seasons.
@@teapea8184 Yes, people complain about FL farming bottom feeder teams, but a lot of the guys they picked up were absolutely undervalued.
@@OWlsfordshire People tend to forget Tampa(Verheaghe) or what Flames looked during Bennett or Tkatchuk trades.
His drafting is going underrated due to NO space on the team. If this was 5 years ago Samo & Sourdif would have gotten the same type of chance Tippett had to develop, but going for cups mixed with Maurice not wanting to play kids and this is what you get. Lundell was the highest pick he had and even HE is blocked from 2C. Hopefully one of the kids gets a chance this year.
