- Hello! Today we are back to using the mokume gane technique, which as you know is my favourite. With a few simple changes, we get completely different results.
I'm going to make the mokume using the new Cernit alcohol-based inks and with the resulting sheet I'm going to make a necklace of tubes.

Wow, yet another possibility with mokume gane! I love how distinct the patterns are!
On a different note, in English we call it a 'pasta machine', not a 'laminator'... to Americans/British/Australians, a laminator is a heated machine used to capture paper between 2 translucent plastic sheets.

Hola Ana si uso papel de horno mejor y la cinta adhesiva del lado del tubo cobre , saludo
Hola Miriam, gracias por tu comentario. No me gusta pegar la cinta al tubo de cobre porque luego cuesta mucho sacar las arcilla del tubo. Y el papel de horno, aunque es menos adherente que el papel normal, es un infierno para pegarlo con la cinta adhesiva :) :*
Hola Ana! Me encanta lo creativa que eres y sin falta veo todos tus videos, aprendo mucho de ti, hace un par de meses comencé a tener dolor en mis manos cuando trabajo por más de un par de horas, tú qué haces para cuidar de tus manos y brazos? Tienes alguna rutina o limite de tiempo al trabajar?
Hola Aly, muchas gracias por tus palabras y siento leer que esás teniendo dolor en las manos y brazos. Espero que pase pronto. Lo que yo hago es usar un motor para la laminadora. Eso reduce mucho los dolores, pero también hago pasaras cada hora, más o menos, para estirar dedos y brazos. E intento sentarme siempre en una postura cómoda. Y bien recta. Descansar cada cierto tiempo también es fundamental. Espero que te sirva :*

Hola Ana! Bravo and thank you for your content. You are a master in arcilla polimerica fantastica! I am always so inspired when I watch your videos. Your mokume gane is so different and original. I wanted to know if the Cernit inks are UV resistant? Or must the finished pieces be coated so they do not fade? This seems especially important if the piece is exposed to sunlight through a window, or could fade if perfume were accidentally sprayed on the piece and the alcohol from the perfume damaged the piece. What is you advice for this likely event with jewelry pieces? Also what do you find is the best way to clean a polymer clay piece? Thank you. I'm such a fan!🙂
Thank you for your comment. I have done a test of exposure to direct sunlight for two weeks and have hardly noticed any colour change. Like any material they will be affected by the sun over time.:*

Buenas tardes Ana. Gracias por sus tutoriales hace usted cosas increíbles, la felicito. Necesito hacerla una consulta si es tan amable. Me encantan las manualidades y hace tienpo que la sigo. Es por ello que mi familia me han regalado una cantidad elevada y un montón de artilugios, de una tienda que ha cerrado, de pasta marca Fimo, para que me atreva de una vez. Supongo usted la conocera. Yo se que usted usa otra marca pero... quisiera aprovechar todo esto,si es que me aclaro pues hay mil paquetitos, para empezar o más bien para trastear o iniciarme en ello. ¿Vale esa marca para hacer cosas como hace usted?.
Ya la digo es por aprovechar y si se me diera bien, ya iría cambiando a la suya.
