I've never seen your channel before, but this video came across just now. I brought two donkeys home over 20 years ago. One has since died. I still have her aging partner. I can imagine the sadness you're going through. This makes me cherish the time I have left with the old man even more.
I also understand if you decide to take a temporary break.. I assume everyone would understand due to this loss.. I have lost pets in my life but never ones this big . Though it is true we will never forget about them. They had very good life's with you Esme .
Truly losing them is the hardest part. I would give *anything* to get to relive even my worst day with my mare if only I could see her one more time. It's wonderful too that you started your channel and now have all of this beautiful footage of them to remember them by. Your family gave them long, beautiful lives and they get to leave behind an incredible legacy. My heart goes out to you and your family and Tobey. It does get better but that doesn't dampen the pain when it's fresh - it's good that you can lean on each other and mourn together.

Im scared to lose the donkey at my Barn, Ollie. He does not live in the best conditions and he is old so i try to make him happy, i brush him give him treats but it seems like nothing is working to help him, he lives in a tiny field thats all poo and mud with 3 other mini horses who are also old all that i want for them is to be sold so they can live the rest of there life like your donkeys. You gave Willow and Bruno the best life that they could get and i thank you for that.

This was the first time in over a year i think ive watched one of your videos. I saw it when i opened youtube and my heart shattered immedietly from just seeing the thumbnail. I watched the whole video over and over and cried harder the more i did. I grew up watching the donkeys and they have left such a big crack in my heart after leaving. I wish all the best to you Esme. I am so sorry for your loss as my, but you gotta know that they’re in a better place now I had a really bad thing happened to me. I lost my bunny right before my birthday and right before school, cried every day and every minute to wish I could see you again, but she had a bad disease and now I know she’s better❤

People think "It's just an animal" but they are family. They become one of the most important parts of your life. Ive cried more about the loss of a hamster than I did for an Auntie.
