@ 8:56 I am not sure if anyone already told you or not. But this line “sorry, I am sorry for my fault. Once again, I’m bowing down my head” is a long time inside joke b/w members and Armys. So, in nov, 2018 posted a tweet in it the above “sorry…my head” line was typed in English but in Korean characters. So rather than saying sorry in Korean (미안해 mianhae) he wrote english word sorry in Korean characters (아임 소리 포 마이 펄트 aim soli po mai peolteu) lmao!!! Since then, you can see members using this all time in run or bon voyage or memories as a way to apologize jokingly. Fun fact is that this all started back when bts were in trainee days and had to cover of the song called “It Hurts”. Hobi had rap verse and “sorry for my fault” line was in it. 😂
No way? I had no idea that was where this came from. I thought it was just an inside joke between BTS that I would never understand. You learning something every day as an army. Thanks for sharing! 😊
Jimin and JK are from : Busan ( South Gyeongsang-do).
V and Yoongles are from : Daegu ( North gyeongsang-do)
Even though both accents are different they use same dialects (Gyeongsang-do)
Hobi uses jellado dialect bc he is from Gwanju (South Jellado, this dialect even has its own grammar rules lol)
Jin is from Gangwon and Joonie is from Ilsan. Both are cities near the boundary of Seoul. Even though they are not technically from Seoul, ppl just consider them as Seoulites. So Jin and Joonie are the only ones in team that don't have accents or speak in satoori.
Bc Jin does not know dialects he is clueless/confused and Joonie whenever he answer is far from being correct, so that's why members are laughing at his answers like (fourth city etc).
Since Joonie does not have his accent/dialect, over the years while living with the members of different dialects, accents, and provinces. He learns half of it from all and mixes it up and then speaks his own dialect its like creating your own dialect like TaeTae language (Tae created his own language by the way he pronounces or phrase things, you can see run editors caption like Tae language). Army with help of K-Armys have named Joonie's dialect as "nam-dialect" lol. So whenever you see Joonie's speaking in satoori and members laughing like @ 30:01 that is the reason!
Oh! I also didn't know these stuff.. Thanks for explanation! All I knew was that Namjin does not know dialect.
Jin is from Gwacheon and RM is from Ilsan. Both are Gyeonggi-do near Seoul , so they generally don't use dialects.

Lol Tae taes language is just him mispronouncing or mashing multiple words together bc he doesn’t know which one is correct 😂 cracks me up bc he just always looks so lost when that happens… it’s ridiculously adorable

He never gets angry easily when playing games and that always amazed me, he has a very calm personality 💜
Jimin & JK waited until V answered but the staff gave Jimin & JK the turn to answer and copy what V said earlier because they know V is smart and knows something when it comes to nonsense questions. V is the unpredictable person and smart.
@ 41:46 Yes dialects are very different. Some dialects sound very harsh compared to others. So even if you know Korean fluently (standard is Seoul accent ), if you hear a person speaking dialect you are unfamiliar with like Jeolla-do province satoori/dialect you won't be able to understand anything and will hardly able to follow convo. That's why usually all Kdramas are in Seoul accent, the standard and not satoori (dialect). Even ppl who come from different provinces and work in Seoul and appear on broadcasts like idols Jimin jk hobi Suga and V have to adjust their speech and get used to it and not talk in dialects when they first came in 2010/11. Its kind of a requirement. Even now when they are excited or frustrated or annoyed they would break out in their native dialects and make fun of each other lol

In Korea, an acquaintance who is younger is "dongseng", a younger brother/sister.
The term to distinguish blood siblings is chin-dongseng.

Taehyung's facial expression was always fun, he's so clever when it comes to his facial expressions, all the teams were cute and funny, but Taehyung and Namjoon were so cute.
The second part of this game is my favorite with the moment between Jimin and Jungkook's mom, his reaction was adorable and just fun to watch all of them laugh in general. 💜
To explain round 1 nonsense is like for example first question is "what do you call cow going to Seoul?"
In korean So means cow, Ga = to go + Seoul which is Soseolga. Soseolga also means novelist in korean. That is how the whole nonsense quiz worked!

It is amazing that the dialects are so different, but I definitely see that here in America as well. Each of our states has a different dialect based on geographical region and what has influenced that particular area. Speaking patterns can even differ based on interests. There’s a surfing and skateboard culture in Southern California that you find especially in beach cities that differs a lot from the more inland cities. The manner of speaking and vocabulary used is different even if two cities are separated by just 30 miles. I imagine it is this way in any country in the world. It’s really quite fascinating how language and dialects are spoken and how language in general evolves over time.
I really wanna talk to you shiki, I wanna share to you how well mannered BTS is, Specially in this video, I found myself sharing my thoughts to you even if you don't hear it.

We have so many dialects in Denmark.
I grew up in a small village about 6 km. from a larger city in Jutland.
In 8th grade we started school in the other city, and my new classmates didn't understand me if I spoke in dialect.
I once tried speaking dialect in Copenhagen and they looked at me as if I was an alien. 🤣
They had no clue what I was saying.
Here in Italy every city and village has its own dialect. Speaking "Italian" is a way to connect the dialect of southern Italy with what is here in the north and so we created Italian. Here we are because we were not a united people but many territories conquered by kings of other countries such as the French, Spanish, Austrian etc. So every country, city and region has different dialects. I’m from the north and when I go to the south I don’t really understand when they talk. I suppose there are many different ones in Korea too. It would be interesting to discover the Korean history that led them to have so many dialects.💜 love your reaction!!!❤
Yes, I read about "standard Italian" being a constructed language to kind of unify the country because of all the dialects. I want to learn Italian and I watched a lot of great classics of Italian cinema in Italian with French subtitles. My native tongue is French and it shares 80% of similarities with italian specially in it's written form so I have hope. Italian is the most beautiful language, a true enchantment to the ear. I just knew about korean dialect few weeks ago when i watched explanation about their song Paldogangsan/Satoori rap. It's worth to watch, Shiki. And the song is really catchy.

Hobi uses his dialect when he speak to other members frequently, so even though the majority of them are from gyeongsangdo, they said they are more influenced by the jeollado dialect

Jin and Namjoon don't get accents because they are from Seoul. There home cities are too close to Seoul. That's why Jin is clueless and Namjoon is hilarious....

I've had that same kind of struggle of not being able to properly define a dialect word in the official language when explaining said dialect word to my brother (who even though he grew up in the same environment does not understand any word of our dialect).
