I heard that Eric recorded "Cliffs of Dover" on both an ES-335.and a Strat back and forth throughout the song. This may explain why no matter how much anyone tries they cannot get that tone on only a 335 or a Strat. My EJ Strat is one of the best Strats I've ever played. Love that chunky neck and those sweet pickups. Absolutely the best new one since the early '60s..
@@Gabe-md2ur Ha! :D I didn't mean the neck in particular, I mean the whole guitar. It is the only guitar where it feels like I sound worse because it perfectly translates what my hands do, and I'm not a good player. It's like the other guitars I have almost help hide my little mistakes. Darned peculiar. Luckily, I don't find that discouraging.
@@michaelmaier7262 hey, learning with a guitar like that will only make you stronger. I got the joke, my 57 reissue strat and my favorite guitar in my pic.. early 90s dk24m japan will call me out too. It just made playing other guitars stupid easy and you play cleaner. Keep it going man
I wanted to purchase an Ultra II Strat, but have found your representation. Based upon your review this guitar seems to be the best non custom shop Fender Strat.
I have the thinline, rosewood and virginia and yes, I agree with you although love them all. I don't like the nut on the Virginia though. Very cheap. should really have been micarta like the custom shop although I would have settled for bone
Custom Shop at a Fraction of the PRICE!!!😊😋🤗

I love my candy apple red one w/ maple neck but it totally exposes every flaw in my playing.
How does a maple neck expose flaws in your playing?

Mine is a 2007 model in black. One of my favorite guitars. Not long ago a friend offered me $300 just for that white tolex case.
Got the same color, love mine, great radius, nice action coming from an Ibanez, Charvel guy
I have all of the ej Strats. By far and away, Virginia sounds the best, very much like Eric; not even a close second!

Thank you sir, great playing too!
Thank you kindly!
😂love your prestation brother, You Rock😆🤞🏾🎸🎸🎸!!!!
I like your sense of humor. I have a 2006 EJ in white blonde as yours. Very unique instrument - very nice to have. Thanks
That's an interesting Strat. It really sounds good!
Dude; best, funniest f***in’ review I’ve ever seen…..I’m a fan!
Put my 12 yr old Eric against any strat ,custom or not
Yup I’ve watched and seen them all from all people. When I plug in my Eric. I’m like nope
Little do you know.
Por favor, que pedal (efecto) usas? Gracias, tocas bien!🎸
Everyone who is anyone knows EJ only uses batteries from Jamaica
What is the OD pedal that you are using? Has a killer sound. Thank you.
you're a funny guy 😂
I really hate that Artisan Guitar went strictly all Maton Guitars. Artisan use to be one really cool guitar shop. Now they are boring!
I’ve never heard of a guitar shop that only sells 1 brand. It’s a really strange business decision, especially since Maton is an Australian maker.
your voice vol is anonoying low... the guitars sound Great !!!!
Interesting presentation.
