This is the only thing that I have Never seen before in life because even if the recipe is different we almost use the same ingredients she uses in her videos in our cooking too.
I'm from China and ive never heard of this mushroom before. i looked it up and apparently it was pretty rare and precious in the wild, the entire Yunnan province was only able to forage 1 tone of it per year(?) from the wild. They've only started to farm them in large scale since arround 2018 thanks to some breakthrough in farming research, now the province produces tones of this every single day
It's amazing how well I seem to know Penji and her whole family. Also it's a beautiful how people around the world are able to see a Chinese culture and see that they are just like them. They love their families and just want to be happy and live their lives with peace in their hearts and minds...what is happening with Penji and Liziqi and other channels like this is doing more to heal divides than most people realize because young people especially are able to see this and NOT form opinions based on lies and half truths and see that they are just like everyone else...

As you can see nobody has cellphone while eating that’s the kind of thing I missed where family eat, talk and laugh together nowadays it’s completely opposite.
I like how you make sure to give Grandpa things that he doesn't have to chew a lot because of his teeth. Always making sure he has the first bites and everything to eat. So nice to see elders being treated the way the are supposed to.

I'm curious, in what way is it not real life? She actually did some of the things my grandma did when I was small. They were farmers, and my grandfather would sometimes go to jungles to find wildlife for grandma to cook. We had family dinners like these too

Just remember, things/memories we dont have today, make sure our next generation, our children, can experience each memories that we want the most. I like how you make sure to give Grandpa things that he doesn't have to chew a lot because of his teeth. Always making sure he has the first bites and everything to eat. So nice to see elders being treated the way the are supposed to.

While I know its not "real life" it shows/tells such a lovely story of how Dianxi Xiaoge contributes a HUGE amount to the comfort and well being of her family. She seems to have infinite energy and motivation. Am envious of that!
I'm curious, in what way is it not real life? She actually did some of the things my grandma did when I was small. They were farmers, and my grandfather would sometimes go to jungles to find wildlife for grandma to cook. We had family dinners like these too
