    This is awesome! My child is participating right now! We started her this summer. She has been in pre school since last year and is in 4yo this year. This program is amazing, my daughter is pre reading and writing. She is learning math and science too! Only 20-30 mins a day 5x’s a week!

      That's the way. A great focus on philosophy and the underlying theories of education would be so beneficial. Maybe A) kids would actually appreciate school and B) school would be a more beneficial experience.
      I think the two of those really go hand in hand.

      We have a severe critical thinking crisis in America right now. This would honestly help a ton. It'd teach kids how to recognize fallacious arguments and reasoning. It'd teach kids how to recognize their cognitive biases and help everyone understand and recognize other positions. Right now we live in a very polarized world and society where we only stick to information that agrees with our world view; however, no thought it gone into thinking if that world view is even right. Any facts and evidence -- science, in general -- just bounces off and gets completely ignored.
      [edit: fixed the sentence about polarized world/society.]

    The problem with having a historian running the future of education is it isn't bringing in new ideas. This sounds like a new version of "teaching for the test" with bright colors and 20 year old graphics. Engagement with kids would be way more impactful for a generation that has a iPad before they are out of diapers

If you can't make use of algebra, geometry, calculus, PE and exercises, history, art, music, English, chemistry. physics, biology, etc, then that's not on the education system -- that's on you.

    Music is an essential tool in early childhood education! Children are aural learners and science shows we are all prepared for music fro. Prebirth.
    We still underutilise music. If we make it the core, just think about your ABCS, the sky is the limit!
    Music and language are also inextricably linked. There is no other activity that compares. Early childhood educators should be trained music and movement education and sensitised to foreign languages so they could be more effective at delivering and manipulating the curriculum for children to learn even faster!
    Children should always be taught to listen/auditory discrimination long before they learn to make visual associations.

    sounds like an advertisement. The cost says it all, 2k for the program is wayyy too much. a capable computer can cost 200-300$ nowadays, then what? You supposedly earned 60k*2k = 120m but I assume most of those kids got it for free, but still you see this program should cost pennies but the catch is, it doesn't, that's because you goal is not to educate and there is a conflict of interest there

      @Knipex23 5 лет назад +2

      Kids need encouragement and access to knowledge as early as possible...
      Of course they need good education further on. But focussing on the preparation before kindergarten is equaly necessary.
      At least thats my opinion speaking from germany. Learning english, motor skills, a little bit of maths and social behaviour such as how to treat another person is especially important in such a young age.
      I think the way shown in the video is a great way to achieve that.

    • @feigi9263
      @feigi9263 5 лет назад +1

      @@Knipex23 you're right, but young minds like kindergartener's won't understand what is happening and can simply be told to go to school (That's what happened to me and most other people). Besides, there's nothing THAT important that kids could be learning in Kindergarten. But good point.

    • @CatElectraa
      @CatElectraa 5 лет назад +1

      teaching a child to learn is something that must start in the home. for many kids, kindergarten isn’t easy because they weren’t properly introduced to letters and numbers until their first day of school. the whole point of the video is that they do need preparation early on bc without it many children fall behind

    • @feigi9263
      @feigi9263 5 лет назад

      The public school system is quite easy for most children, but, for some it isn't and that is why there are special help programs for them. Likewise, there are also programs for advanced kids. Regardless of the intelligence and motivation of the child, school is manageable.

    DON'T STOP BELIEVE
    I was reminded, when father asked my brother to help pay electricity bills with cash. then while on the road my brother saw a lottery ad with a prize for our father's dream car, then he spent all that money to buy a lottery. after he returned home, he told everything to father. then dad was very angry and my brother was hit by dad. several days later, surprisingly. there is a new edition Ford car parked outside our house, yes right, it is father dream car. our family was very surprised by that. My mother crying loudly and after seeing for some time, my brother started crying louder than my mom, when suddenly two electricians came out to unplug electricity in our house because they did not pay. Then the younger brother was beaten again by Father.
    Thanks for Google translate, now I can share to the world.
