Good to see the laying out and setting the gauge for the three courses. Not many on RUclips actually explain the way the rise in the brickwork needs to be allowed for. For a novice like me, it's really useful. Look forward to the next stage - well done guys.
this is actually amazing! this video is so good. showing your error how you noticed it and how to rectify it! I get told alot to switch off because i go over and over and over my setting out stuff when im home, before we start etc etc etc and people always tell me to switch off so its nice to hear someone say its not a bad thing! i wish we lived closer and i could learn from you!
Love the banter! Just give the lad a clip round the ear and get him grafting! LOL! Good explanation Justin/Fraser, thanks for the upload, waiting for the next one!
This layout is a bit complicated so glad you know what you are doing. Frey has come on loads since he started, good to see him commenting as well, another string to his bow. Well done all!

Hi justin Clever working out mate , showing years of experience and no room for error pal , be nicevto see how it works out ti gauge pal and great getting the lads in the video to explain as well 👍💯 take care pal and stay safe next week ,

Liked watching your superb video, great help... I'm building a sunken patio (brick wall height in total from the ground to above grass level is less than 1mtr) I see you put down the MOT first before digging out the foundations. Can I build the foundation first by shoring up the inside face of the foundation with a temporary wood retainer then filling the inside of the patio with MOT once the foundation is cast? rather than dig out the foundation after putting MOT down? Any advice gratefully appreciated. cheers Roy
Really enjoying your vids. Subbed. Can you do a short vid on how to calculate cement needed for footings and how to use the Dumpy Level. Keep up the good work lads and stay warm 🥶👍
Thanks RC and welcome to the channel. I'll try to remember to show videos on those at some point . To work out concrete its volume m3 so length x breadth x height give meters cubed thats how to work out concrete 👍
What was wrong with that beautiful decking 😂😂. Also typical conservatory dodgy foundation. Lastly it’s definitely time for that laser level Justin 😉🧱🤙🏽👍🏼
