This is somewhere in the middle of a four hour concert. To be able to keep this kind of energy for that long in that long a concert is really impressive. Also, Immortal songs is a show where (usually very well known) artists do their own interpretations of old classic songs. The dances and other stuff is often either inspired by the original song or they play with things they did in the TV-show.
As Others have probably mentioned... this was a Medley in the middle of a concert. They Look/Sound like this is the start of it. These women are crazy, in the best way... Love them. The MAMAMOO members(as of 2020) are among some of the most-credited idols in K-Pop. Moonbyul actually has the most songwriting credits of all 3rd generation female idols (at 65 credits for this artical, but at 111 as of 2023), since she writes her own raps in almost all of the group’s songs. And more(songwriting, composition on Illella). Solar has 25+ credits to her name. She also wrote the lyrics and composition for her solo song, “Spit it Out”. Composer on "Honey" Hwasa, meanwhile, has 27+ credits. The lyrics to her solo song, “María”, were praised for its inventive and meaningful wordplay. ("Somebody" w/Loco) Wheein has at least 9 (that I can confirm, probably more) as of 2023. There are definately other songs between the artical in Sept 2020 and now... I've only mentioned one for each (LOL), there are more of course.
Put these girls on a stage in front of people and they will not disappoint. There are so many more examples of this out there :) but i hope your mamamoo journey will take you through more of their MV's.
The stage is literally Mamamoo's playground. Even when they voice cracked, wrong choreography, etc they just laugh & having fun with the mistakes. That's their charms that for me, set them unique than others girl groups..
How can you not love a group that are completely okay with going on stage dressed as Teletubbies or homewear in pastels when everyone shows up in formal evening wear. They thoroughly don't seem to give a flying f' about anyones opinion and we love them for it. They were laughed at when they debuted; were considered the "ugly group" because they didn't fit the template k-pop girl group standard and instead were 4 individuals with distinct personalities; now they are a power house (sadly grossly under-estimated) that have paved the way for so many newcomers and changed some of the (ridiculous) beauty standards of Korea. They were mocked for being "too short" and as a result they made a rap about the difference a centimeter makes (in height! get your mind out of the gutter). Hwasa was "too fat", "too dark-skinned" and "too Asian" and now she is one of the most well-known Korean celebrity in the world, and probably have to beat her male admirers off with a stick. They truly deserve so much more recognition than they have gotten, so thank you for making the effort of show casing them to the world. Welcome to the Moomoo clan
Another one Mamamoo did on this stage is Wonderful Confession in even brighter pastel leisure suits. You can really see the fans and the judges in that one as theater lights are up on all of them
The second time they appeared on Immortal Songs show, (August 2015) Mamamoo did a rendition of Jo Young-nam's "Delilah" (the old Tom Jones song) that absolutely brought the house down. If you want to see them shake the rafters of that huge theater, watch their DELILAH performance. But stay to the very end,.. there's a big finish that you don't want to miss.
One of the things I love about Mamamoo concerts is that they use a live band rather than pre-recorded instrumental tracks. This is from their 2nd series of solo concerts called Moosical Curtain Call in 2017. The previous year they held their first concerts, two in Seoul and two in Busan, and if you guessed they were called Moosical you're correct. lol If I recall correctly at that time they were one of if not the fastest group to hold solo concerts, a little more than 2 years after their debut. As you said, their stage presence is terrific and they absolutely own the audience. They look like seasoned vets up there despite this only being the 5th or 6th concert of their career. For a good time watch all of their 14 appearances on the singing competition tv show Immortal Songs 2. This medley includes snippets of some of the covers they performed on the show between 2015-17. Unfortunately the tv network blocks reactions to Immortal Songs unless you ghost the video over the background so binge watch them on your own time. They're simply spectacular. Mamamoo has started a world tour tho at this point they've only announced dates in Asia and the Pacific islands. Keep an eye out because maybe they'll come to a venue near you.
As always you did a great job. As the saying goes, welcome to the radish patch guy. Just dig, there are hundreds of videos out there and everyone is worth watching.
Amazing group, you haven’t seen how they having fun behind the scene (check out MMMTV which capture their behind scene / work) you will fall in love with them. Their stage presence is amazing. Your bucket list must include to watch their concert as I watched their concert last year at Seoul and amaze by it. Their live singing, is OMG, and their dance, is amazing too where most people thought they can’t dance. And they funny too
Thanks for reacting to MMM, yes, going to their concert is a must, they are having a world tour and i have join 2 nights in HK luckily though tickets sold out a few second. Their energy on stage is another level, we enjoy watching them having fun on stage. Hope they will announce other places soon.
If you dont want to do the guide yet, i recommend you react to mamamoo's "where are we now" as its beautiful mv and really showcases their vocals as its masterpiece ballad that reflects their 7 years journey together.
MAMA MAMA MAMAMOO!!!! Best vocals in kpop. Please react to their DESTINY PART 2 - Live Studio Moon Night live performance. They showoff the vocals again in this performance.
think time for reaction for introduction mamamoo by purple hawke (2 pts for members) and the other intro guide is introduction to mamamoo 2022 by Moo YT which is pt.1 members and pt. 2 group...the purple hawke is more funny and details about the girls ..the second guide by moo YT is more current. I would recommend you do the 2pts for members from purple hawke guide and do PT2. group video from MOO Yt as it shows progression from debut to 2022 as a group and their music.
please react to the immortal songs performances next! i saw that there was a playlist tagged at the end of the video you watched. you can do two or three per video, it would be awesome !!!!! ps: your hair looks adorable ;)
As an a side you should react to them on "Queendom" BTW Solar wasn't happy with that belt near the end... Because she had to stop to complete it LoL. Crazy woman.
Please react to mamamoo Guide from 2022. It has two parts, members and the group. Purple hawk Guide its a little old abd the 2022 Guide has a Lot If New information about the girls abd the group
