I could listen to Darren talk for hours. In everything he talks about. You can hear the excitement & the passion he puts into everything he's done & everything hes doing. Darren express's how he feels in a way that makes you totally relate to him.
He makes you feel like it would be totally natural to be chillin with him. Just sitting around talking about stuff or listening to him jam with his brother Chuck & his friends. Darrens just so awesome like that.

This was such a great interview! 21:00 Ian's detailed memory and Darren freaking out about it was so hilarious and genuine. And with every Darren interview I've realised that I learn atleast one new word ("curmudgeonly"? Wut!) His vocab is so incalculable, every interview leaves me mesmerized 😍 Wish this was 2-3 hours long!

Deep-dive fan boys unite. This is a great one, especially because (unlike a lot of interviewers) the host Ian did his research into Darren's ouvre. D can talk a lot about his scholarly passions, and his pop ones, and this interview makes the best of that because they connect on so many things.
