Yes. Soon I'm starting university, I will learn IT and programming and stuff. But today, I saw several videos of people making games with AI in hilariously short periods of time. I'm really scared what will happen to software developing, like the downfall of videos and such content, in the old times it took so many talented people, nowadays anyone can create that. If this happens with software developing, many people, among me, may become unemployed. I'm just talking about 4 years, when I'll graduate. Maybe those 4 years will become irrelevant and get dumped. Remember the memes like "AI takes over the world, meanwhile AI: [random bullshit]", where the source of comedy was the low efficiency of AI? It was only a few years ago. Now we have ChatGPT. And in 2027? Honestly, I can't imagine, and I don't even want to imagine the downfall of intellectual workers, the core of this society.

Efficiency is efficiency. Refusing to adapt to a radically more efficient technology is a death sentence to any civilization. I won't pretend that there won't be consequences and that some people will be harmed in the short-term, but long-term it is necessary for our survival.
@@bort6414 That's a good point, but in one term it is wrong. Money. The rapid rate of decreasing number of jobs and workplaces, and the increasing number of the population. People still need money to buy what they need, this is the way of surviving. How will they earn money if they can't work? Because the machines, the robots, the AI powered automated shit will done everything? That's the most important question in this topic, how will the rise of such a society affect general values?
Problem is this will not be anytime soon a robot feels like a real human

They’ve done “attachment theory” experiments on monkeys with a wire mother vs a cuddly blanket mother. The baby monkey always spent more time with the cuddly mum even though the wire one had milk attached to it, and ran to the blanket mum when it got scared. It made me sad thinking one day we’ll probably use robots to raise children, because the parents are so overworked they don’t have time.
